He is in man coverage priority #1. There are 6 defenders to play side. I not sure what else there is to discuss. If you coach your players to abandon man coverage on someone running across the formation. Good luck.

OG I get he’s in man coverage on the Wing but the ball is handed off to the RB by the time Edmunds gets to the A Gap. Everyone else is running to the ball. You know better than anyone, See ball Get Ball. He just had a bad rep with poor eye discipline.

Stephen .. I am honestly not being a jerk when I say you dont understand how defense works. A. The defense has 6 playes play side on the snap B. At the mesh point Edmonds doesn't know if qb is run or play action C. His priority is man D. That is why 6 defenders are play side.

If 23 slashed left, he had a huge hole. The blocking scheme did its job. They might have been able to close on him, but not after at least a 5 yard gain. (imho)

Paul I can clearly see your pov.. However.. if you look at the head and body position of the right side of the OL. (INSIDE OUT by design) if rb cuts back on pace, those defenders are out of the play with no chance. This is a inside run

Mr. Banks, until yesterday I was ecstatic with how great the Giant defense was tackling, at all levels. Tackling on Sunday looked like 2024 and 2025. Bad angles, arm tackles, swings and misses. In your experience how does that happen?
