. @AppleSupport I’ve noticed the accessibility shortcut magnifier takes a long time to load. I really need this feature to be fast for daily life activities like reading price tags and food menus in real life. iPhone 14 Pro iOS 18.1.1 #a11y #accessibility #visuallyimpaired

In the 90s, women were less likely to negotiate their salaries than men. Today, they're more likely to ask... but still get fewer raises. The solution is not to encourage women to advocate for themselves. It’s to change the stereotypes and systems that are biased against them.

Yay! I got the kanji tab on @duolingo 🙌 I just spent two months in Japan and kanji is essential.

I was upset after visiting the eye doctor and said I wish I had better vision. My 5 year old says “well, you’re born with what your born with, you can’t just pop out your eyeballs and get new ones” #wordsofwisdom #a11y #albinism #wisechild #youngandwise

My 5 year old is taking an Engineering class for spring break! What a fun intro to STEM. At potty time, one of the boys says “there are fewer girls”. There are 3 girls and 12 boys. No line ups for the washroom! #winning

Parents, it starts at home. My daughter hasn’t even started kindergarten and already the gender bias is strong. Where are the girls?

Thank you to the random stranger who stopped to talk to me today. There are good people out there making a difference ❤️

“I am a responsible adult!” “This is not permanent!” “Other people have lived through this” “Breath!” But I’m not okay and that’s supposed to be okay.

Glad to be able to catch @timnitGebru keynote at #ghc2021. An amazing way to use her platform to call out companies that throw money at diversity but not action and also to the organizations that accept those dollars knowing that’s the case.

@ParkBoard Swimming registration is already stressful enough for the fully sighted. Why would you put the REMOVE button in the same spot as the REGISTRATION WILL START IN 10 SECONDS, DO NOT REFRESH placeholder button #a11y #accessibility #lowvision

Move the REMOVE button to the far right column, please!
Toddler sitting on my lap while I’m on-call: “Mommy, what are those rainbow mountains?” “Metrics, lots of metrics” Metrics are henceforth known as RAINBOW MOUNTAINS! 🌈 🏔 📈📉

As a developer, I know it’s just another “feature” to add this kind of support to an app, but requires support from many teams and the whole company to implement. Thank you Twitter! I hope other companies follow suit.

I keep going to use the Zoom Controller and then realizing I don’t need to. This is so delightful! I’m so giddy right now!

@saveonfoods I’m disappointed that you invested in a whole new app with great categorization features but you didn’t consider accessibility a priority. The font is tiny and your new features are lost to me. 🔍 #a11y #accessibility

Ok, and uh, I can’t order more than 5 bananas??? I’m getting the spinner then it bounces back to 5. It’s difficult to add items to the cart. That should be your most important feature, adding things to a cart.

@saveonfoods you got me again: substituted my boneless skinless chicken with $11,390.00 worth of bone in, skin on chicken thighs. And I can’t even have banana flavoured yogurt. (The bill was corrected in the end.)
