as a trans person who has experienced sexual violence, going through female puberty genuinely was worse, more traumatic, and left longer lasting mental and physical health complications. Severe dysphoria is a crippling thing to deal with.

Going through a biological process is not worse than rape, ever. Ever. Just because you have trauma from rape doesn’t mean you are healed or able to discern what is rape trauma vs “dysphoria”. But you cannot compare a VIOLENT CRIME to a biological process.

I've been through a lot of shit. physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, mental illness, chronic pain and disability, knife crime, harassment, assault, etc... my dysphoria is worse than all of the rest of those things combined and i truly mean that.

if i could go back in time and either choose for all of that to never happen OR to start hormone blockers before i hit puberty, I'd choose the blockers. puberty is so damaging for a lot of trans kids both physically and mentally.

in this case I'm saying that because there's no evidence that Hitler's niece shared the same values as him but there is evidence to suggest he abused her emotionally and sexually so i wouldn't say that's the best example to get that point across that's just my opinion tho
