Live in build 232 π² carstack.app
playing around with ο£ΏMapKit for a 3D Replay feature for Carstack π
you can pinch the screen to control the zoom level seamlessly. available for every drive you record using the app.
crazy what you can do with react native and @expo modules these days
π
i built an app that's like strava for cars before my drive through the alps last week.
- record your drives & share as a card (like the one below)
- uncover the map fog-of-war style and see how much % of a city you've driven
- fuel expense tracking
- heatmap of your most frequented roads
- social feed of who's driving what car and for how long
- automatic recording when you connect to CarPlay
...and more coming
slowly putting it together into a full package and looking for people who love driving.
if this sounds like something you'd use often, i can send you a testflight :)
(yes, this is real GPS-verified speed on a german autobahn. and yes, you can hide it before sharing)
