🧵【Hook Pools Explained: The New Trap for Arbitrage Bots?】
Everyone is talking about Uniswap V4 Hooks.
But the real story isn't simply that V4 lets developers add custom logic.
It's this:
The price you see may NOT be the price you can actually execute.
And that changes everything for arbitrage.
👇 Let's break it down.
1️⃣ What is a Hook Pool?
Traditional AMM:
Token A ↔ AMM ↔ Token B
Uniswap V4:
Token A ↔ Pool ↔ Hook ↔ Token B
A Hook is a smart contract that can intervene before or after swaps, liquidity changes, and other pool actions.
In other words:
The Pool can now have programmable trading logic.
2️⃣ The important part: Custom Accounting
This is where things get interesting for arbitrageurs.
Traditional AMM:
Price → AMM Curve → Output
With V4 Hooks, custom accounting and deltas can modify how the final settlement works.
So you might see:
ETH = $4,580
But that doesn't necessarily mean you can actually buy ETH at $4,580.
The real question is:
How much ETH do I actually receive for $10,000 USDC?
That's the price that matters.
3️⃣ Dynamic Fees
Hooks can also implement dynamic fees.
For example:
Normal trade:
0.30%
Certain conditions:
3%
Or potentially even higher.
So an arbitrage bot sees:
Binance ETH = $4,700
Hook Pool ETH = $4,580
🔥 Apparent spread = 2.55%
Looks great.
But after:
Hook Fee
Slippage
Gas
MEV
The actual profit could disappear.
4️⃣ The more dangerous scenario: Fake Arbitrage
This is what I think arbitrage bots need to watch closely.
Bot sees:
“ETH is 3% cheaper on the Hook Pool.”
↓
Enters the trade
↓
Custom Accounting
↓
Dynamic Fee
↓
Actual output is much lower than expected
↓
Bot exits
↓
Instead of +3%:
-1%
That's why:
⚠️ Spot Price ≠ Executable Price
5️⃣ Could Hooks be designed to punish arbitrage?
Potentially, yes.
Imagine:
Normal trade:
0.3% fee
Large/arbitrage trade:
5% fee
Or a size-dependent structure:
$1K → 0.3%
$10K → 1.5%
$50K → 5%
The “arbitrage opportunity” may only exist for small trades.
Scale up the position:
The edge disappears.
6️⃣ Therefore, a serious arbitrage bot cannot simply compare two prices.
Wrong:
Binance Price
vs
Hook Price
Correct:
Binance Reference Price
↓
Hook Spot Price
↓
Exact Swap Simulation
↓
Custom Accounting
↓
Dynamic Fee
↓
Slippage
↓
Gas
↓
MEV
↓
Real Executable Price
↓
NET ARBITRAGE
7️⃣ I would also give every Hook Pool a “Trap Score”
For example:
Custom Accounting +20
Return Delta +20
Dynamic Fee +15
Sell Tax +20
Upgradeable Hook +10
Admin-controlled Fee +10
Unusual Curve +15
Low Liquidity +10
Spot/Quote Divergence +20
Higher score:
🚨 Higher risk of a misleading or hostile execution environment.
8️⃣ And never test with a huge position first.
Simulate:
$100
$500
$1K
$5K
$10K
$50K
Then look at:
Trade Size → Net Arbitrage
Example:
$100 +3.0%
$1K +2.8%
$5K +2.2%
$10K +0.8%
$50K -3.5%
That's NOT a $50K arbitrage opportunity.
It's a warning that liquidity, curve mechanics, fees, or custom accounting are distorting the apparent edge.
9️⃣ So my first question when looking at a Hook Pool is no longer:
“Is there a price discrepancy?”
It's:
“Can I actually extract that discrepancy?”
Those are two completely different questions.
🔟 And that's why I think V4 could create a new category:
Hook Arbitrage + Hook Security
A serious bot needs to:
🔎 Find the spread
🧠 Analyze the Hook
🧪 Simulate execution
💰 Calculate net profit
🚨 Detect traps
⚡ Execute only when the edge is real
Final thought:
Don't trust the displayed Pool Price.
Especially with V4.
What matters is:
Exact Input → Exact Output
If the simulation still shows sufficient net profit after every cost and risk,
then you may have a real arbitrage opportunity.
Otherwise:
**You may not be finding an arbitrage opportunity.
You may be walking into someone else's liquidity trap.**

Vlad Tenev's latest statement is worth paying attention to.
"All code will be formally verified within 2 years."
This could have major implications for the future of Robinhood Chain.
We may be moving toward a new era where AI doesn't just write code, but mathematically proves that critical code works as intended.
For Robinhood Chain, this opens up some interesting possibilities:
• More secure smart contracts and financial infrastructure.
• Stronger foundations for tokenized stocks and RWAs.
• Safer DeFi lending, trading, and settlement.
• More reliable infrastructure for AI-powered financial agents.
• Greater confidence for developers and institutional participants.
The bigger picture is that Robinhood may be positioning itself beyond simply building another blockchain.
Imagine an ecosystem combining tokenized real-world assets, DeFi, AI-driven finance, and formally verified financial infrastructure.
Of course, technology alone won't guarantee adoption. Liquidity, real users, developer activity, and actual utility will ultimately determine the ecosystem's success.
The real question is:
Could security and verifiable code become Robinhood Chain's biggest competitive advantage in the next generation of onchain finance?
I'm watching this development closely.

$20B is a major milestone, but I think the bigger opportunity is what comes next.
Tokenized stocks could become a significant new revenue engine for Uniswap as equities, ETFs and RWAs become increasingly integrated with DeFi.
The real opportunity isn't just trading volume. It's becoming the liquidity layer for traditional financial assets moving onchain.
Do you think tokenized stocks could eventually become one of Uniswap's biggest revenue drivers?
More importantly, are you bullish on UNI at current levels? What price range do you think is realistic in this cycle, and what would need to happen fundamentally to justify that valuation?
Curious to hear everyone's take. 🦄 @StaniKulechov

$UNI: Fundamentals are improving while price is still searching for a bottom.
I'm paying closer attention to Uniswap again. The interesting part isn't just DEX volume growth, but how that activity translates into revenue and UNI burns.
Here's what stands out.
1️⃣ Revenue is picking up
• 7D DEX Volume: $18.16B
• 30D DEX Volume: $64.07B
• 7D Protocol Revenue: $2.86M
• 30D Protocol Revenue: $7.99M
Annualized revenue run rate:
• 7D: ~$148.7M
• 30D: ~$97.5M
Short-term revenue momentum is looking stronger.
2️⃣ UNI Burn is accelerating 🔥
• 7D Burn: 410K UNI
• 30D Burn: 1.12M UNI
• 30D Annualized Burn: 13.63M UNI
With circulating supply around 608.73M UNI, that's equivalent to roughly 2.25% of supply annually if sustained.
Worth watching as the burn mechanism starts translating protocol activity into supply reduction.
3️⃣ Robinhood is adding another growth channel
Cumulative UNI burn by chain:
• Ethereum: 6.094M
• Base: 3.162M
• Robinhood: 2.704M
• Arbitrum: 1.112M
Robinhood already represents roughly 20% of the combined burn across these four chains.
Uniswap's value capture is expanding beyond Ethereum.
4️⃣ Valuation still matters
• Market Cap: ~$4.44B
• Annualized Protocol Revenue: ~$97.5M
• Market Cap / Annualized Revenue: ~45.5x
The market is still pricing in future growth. Revenue needs to keep expanding to justify a higher valuation.
5️⃣ Key price levels
• $6.75–$7.00: Support zone
• $7.60–$7.80: Reversal confirmation
• $8.36: Next upside level
A break above $7.80 would improve the short-term outlook. Losing $6.75 would weaken the bottoming thesis.
My Take
What interests me most is the combination of:
Revenue ↑
UNI Burn ↑
Cross-chain adoption ↑
While price is still trying to find its footing.
If fundamentals keep improving before price catches up, UNI could become an interesting accumulation opportunity.
Not calling the bottom yet, but definitely keeping $UNI on my watchlist.

PONS might be building something much bigger than just another launchpad.
The $3.33B+ trading volume around NVDA-related pairs is worth paying attention to.
Here's what I think is happening:
Expanding beyond Memecoins: PONS is connecting traditional financial assets with onchain speculation, bringing stocks like $NVDA, $SPY and $TSLA into the ecosystem.
Building a new liquidity layer: Imagine AI projects paired with NVDA, space-related projects paired with SPCX, and index-themed tokens paired with SPY. Stock tokens could become the liquidity foundation for an entirely new category of onchain markets.
Creating a trading flywheel: Traditional market participants enter through stock tokens, discover onchain projects, and generate more trading activity across the ecosystem.
Strengthening Robinhood Chain: If this model works, PONS could evolve from a meme launchpad into a much broader onchain trading infrastructure.
But there are still important questions:
Can stock-token volume translate into sustainable protocol revenue?
Can liquidity and price tracking remain reliable, especially when traditional markets are closed?
Will regulatory clarity and underlying asset custody support long-term adoption?
Can this growth ultimately translate into sustainable value for $PONS?
The bigger opportunity isn't simply launching more tokens.
It's bringing Wall Street liquidity, crypto-native communities, and onchain financial infrastructure together.
I'm watching this evolution closely. The next phase could be much more interesting.

Aave and Morpho represent two very different visions for the future of DeFi.
Aave is defending the fundamental principles of DeFi: permissionless access, decentralized governance, open markets, and protocols that don’t need regulatory permission to evolve. The goal should be to clarify that genuinely decentralized lending is not automatically a security, rather than asking regulators for permission to operate.
Morpho’s approach may look more pragmatic from a compliance perspective, but accepting that lending positions are potentially securities and building a regulatory licensing framework around them risks fundamentally changing what DeFi is supposed to be. It creates a path where control, compliance entities, and permissioned access gradually replace open participation.
Regulation should protect users without destroying the very innovation that makes DeFi different from traditional finance.
I’m firmly on Aave’s side here. DeFi’s future should be built on decentralization, transparency, and permissionless innovation — not on turning protocols into another version of regulated financial intermediaries.
If DeFi needs a license to be DeFi, have we already lost the point of DeFi?
#DeFi #Aave #Morpho #Crypto #Decentralization #Permissionless
Is Morpho trying to kill DeFi?
@aave and @Morpho both sent the SEC a legal framework for DeFi lending, one defends DeFi, the other negotiates it away
When you deposit into a lending market or a vault, did you just buy a security? If yes, someone has to register, disclose and answer to the SEC. If no, DeFi keeps running as it is.
The SEC mainly uses two tests:
1- Howey: did you put money into a shared venture and expect profit from someone else's work?
2- Reves: is your position really an IOU, a note someone promised to repay?
Aave's approach (Aave Labs, @kamino , @veda_labs ) On Howey, there is no shared venture. Suppliers use the same pool and rate, but nobody's profit depends on anyone else. DAO votes with timelocks run a market. They don't manage your money
On Reves, the test never starts, as there is no lender, no borrower duty and no promise to repay, so no IOU exists. Vault curators may count as investment advisers, yet they can't touch your funds
That means no custody and no fund. What it wants from the SEC: confirm existing law. No exemption needed
Morpho's approach (CCI Vault Coalition: Morpho, Bitwise, Galaxy) Control is the yardstick. The less any person can change after you deposit, the further you sit from securities law. Ten conditions define the safe zone, including locked or timelocked parameters and no moving funds between markets after deposit
Howey gets fought mostly on "someone else's work." The paper concedes a vault may already count as a shared venture
Lending positions are treated as notes under Reves, and selling them to retail likely leans "security," it admits.
Its request: exemptive relief, a compliance entity wherever someone holds control, and a private fund lane for vetted investors.
So what's best for DeFi?
Morpho's map is detailed and candid about hard cases, which regulators appreciate. The cost is ground given up before the fight begins. Every concession becomes the SEC's starting point, and the safe zone rewards frozen code over protocols that keep evolving. Aave keeps the default where DeFi needs it. Open markets aren't securities, governance can keep improving the protocol, and no company has to stand in front of it.
Adopt Aave's reading and DeFi stays permissionless, but under Morpho's, DeFi runs on a license
curious to hear what @ImmutableLawyer @spynter @lex_node would think about this
This is the kind of ecosystem that attracts serious builders. Fair creator rewards, genuine community participation, and incentives aligned with the people actually creating value. 791 buys in 24 hours is an encouraging early signal, and sustained activity will be the real measure of long-term growth.
The strongest ecosystems are built together. When creators, builders, and the community grow together, everyone has a reason to stay, contribute, and win. That’s the kind of future worth building with Torch. @Torchpaddotfun 🔥🤝
#Torch #BuildOnTorch #CommunityFirst #DeFi #Web3
791 buys in the last 24h and 791 buys paid revenue.
if you know devs that are still launching on EVM launchpads with v4 hooks and constantly losing up to 90% or more of their creator fees, it's time to bring them over to torch.
we put creators, community & people first. those who deliver and build on and for torch are those who are rewarded, nobody else.
the ecosystem you want to be in. 🤝
This is a much bigger development than simply bringing SpaceX onchain.
The real breakthrough is turning tokenized equities into productive collateral.
Instead of selling their stock exposure, holders can now use tokenized shares to access USDC liquidity through DeFi.
This creates a new financial loop:
Real-world equities → Tokenization → Collateral → USDC Lending → Onchain Liquidity.
The bigger opportunity isn't just tokenized stock trading. It's bringing lending, credit, leverage and capital efficiency to the $150T+ global equity market.
I'm watching collateral adoption, actual borrowing demand and liquidity depth closely.
If this scales, RWA could become one of the biggest growth engines for DeFi.
TradFi assets are no longer just moving onchain. They're starting to work onchain.

Hood morning. Another day of building on Robinhood Chain. ☀️
Is $PONS approaching a bottom?
Looking beyond price, I'm tracking three layers of fundamentals through the PONS Value Capture Monitor.
1. Protocol Activity
30D DEX Volume: $191.78M
30D Fees: $12.65M
30D Protocol Revenue: $1.85M
2. LP Economics
PONS/USDG dynamic fee pool: ~246% annualized gross APR.
Uniswap V4 PONS/USDG: ~138% annualized fee APR.
But 7D net APR after estimated impermanent loss tells a different story: +2.5% on one V4 pool and -14.5% on a V3 pool.
High APR doesn't automatically mean sustainable LP returns.
3. Value Capture
Buyback execution
Verifiable token burns
Sustainable fee generation
Growing liquidity depth
The key question is whether Robinhood Chain can turn speculative trading activity into sustainable liquidity, protocol revenue and real value for $PONS holders.
My view: Potential bottoming setup, but no confirmed fundamental reversal yet.
Watching volume, LP profitability and value capture closely.

🇺🇸 US Midterm Elections: What Comes Next for the Markets?
The election results could reshape market expectations, but I don't think this automatically means a bearish outlook for crypto.
My key takeaways:
1️⃣ Political Uncertainty: A divided government could slow down fiscal policies and crypto-related legislation, creating short-term uncertainty.
2️⃣ US Dollar & Treasury Yields: A weaker dollar and falling Treasury yields could provide support for risk assets, including Bitcoin.
3️⃣ Tech & AI Stocks: Regulatory uncertainty and changing policy expectations could create further volatility in tech stocks.
4️⃣ Crypto Market: Bitcoin may remain relatively resilient, while smaller altcoins could face greater pressure as liquidity becomes more selective.
5️⃣ DeFi & RWA: I believe projects with real utility, sustainable revenue, and institutional adoption will become increasingly important.
My outlook: The next 1–3 months could bring more volatility and market rotation rather than a straightforward bull or bear trend.
I'm watching BTC price action, ETF flows, DXY, and US Treasury yields closely.
Short term: Stay cautious, manage leverage, and preserve liquidity.
Long term: Focus on real adoption, financial infrastructure, and sustainable value creation.
The political landscape may change, but the long-term evolution of onchain finance is still worth watching. 👀

I believe PONS still has a real opportunity, and its move into Perps DEX could be a major turning point if executed properly.
The interesting part is that Perps could address several limitations of the current launchpad and spot trading model.
1. Diversified Revenue Streams
PONS would no longer need to rely so heavily on launch fees and meme coin trading activity. Perps could introduce an additional and potentially more consistent source of revenue through trading fees, especially during periods of high market volatility.
2. Higher Trading Frequency
With spot trading, users are often only active when they find an attractive token. Perps allow traders to take both long and short positions, creating opportunities in bullish and bearish markets. This could help sustain trading activity even when meme coin speculation cools down.
3. Stronger User Retention
Combining Launchpad, Spot, and Perps into one ecosystem could transform PONS from a meme launchpad into a more comprehensive onchain trading platform. Instead of attracting users for a single token launch, PONS could give them more reasons to stay and trade.
4. Greater Token Value Capture
If Perps revenue is integrated into sustainable mechanisms such as buybacks, burns, or other forms of value accrual for $PONS, it could introduce a new economic driver for the token.
Of course, launching a Perps DEX doesn't guarantee success. PONS will need deep liquidity, reliable oracles, efficient liquidation mechanisms, strong risk management, and a competitive trading experience. The Perps market is already highly competitive.
My prediction: If PONS can execute its Perps expansion successfully and connect it with the broader Robinhood Chain ecosystem, it could evolve from a platform heavily dependent on meme coin cycles into a multi-product trading ecosystem with diversified revenue streams.
The real question isn't whether PONS can launch Perps. It's whether Perps can generate sustainable revenue, attract genuine traders, and create long-term value for the ecosystem.
I don't think the PONS story is over yet. In fact, this next phase could be the most important one. 👀🔥

NFA, DYOR.
$100B in Uniswap volume, and Robinhood Chain got there faster than any other chain. That's a major milestone, but I believe the bigger opportunity is still ahead.
We're moving from the infrastructure validation phase into the early stages of ecosystem expansion.
My take is that we're currently seeing only the first wave of adoption, driven largely by crypto-native traders and early DeFi users. The real catalyst will be when Robinhood starts bringing its massive existing user base and traditional financial assets deeper onchain.
I expect the next phase to be driven by three major developments:
Tokenized Assets: Stocks and RWAs becoming more than just tradable assets, with real DeFi utility through lending, collateral, and liquidity.
DeFi Expansion: More protocols across Spot, Perps, Lending, and other financial primitives competing for liquidity and users.
Mainstream Distribution: The integration of Robinhood's existing user base could unlock a completely different scale of adoption.
One thing I'm watching closely is whether trading activity translates into sustainable protocol revenue, deeper liquidity, and genuine user retention.
My prediction: Robinhood Chain has the potential to evolve beyond another L2 and become a major onchain financial hub connecting TradFi and DeFi.
The $100B milestone is impressive, but I don't think this is where the story gets interesting. It's where the next chapter begins.
Still day one. 💚🔥

The bigger picture here is massive.
Uniswap brings the liquidity and DeFi infrastructure, while Robinhood brings distribution, users, and access to traditional financial assets.
Put these together, and Robinhood Chain has the potential to become much more than just another L2.
The real opportunity is building a unified financial ecosystem where crypto, tokenized stocks, RWAs, and DeFi can all interact seamlessly.
Still early, but the long-term vision is hard to ignore. Extremely bullish on what's ahead. 🔥

Congratulations to @Uniswap and @RobinhoodCrypto
Absolutely insane to think about. I know once all the uncertainty is past us, we will continue this journey and make robinhood chain THE CHAIN to trade on.
I’ve never been so damn bullish.
The week size is big. 🙏❤️
PONS entering the Perps market could be a major strategic shift.
But is it a bullish development or another challenge?
The opportunity is clear:
1/ New Revenue Streams
Perps bring additional trading fees and potentially more consistent activity, even when spot markets cool down.
2/ Higher User Retention
Combining Launchpad, Spot and Perps could turn PONS from a meme launchpad into a full-fledged onchain trading terminal.
3/ More Trading Opportunities
Long and short positions allow traders to participate in both bullish and bearish market conditions.
But there are challenges:
4/ Liquidity & Risk Management
Perps require deep liquidity, reliable oracles, efficient liquidation mechanisms and robust risk controls.
5/ Token Value Capture
Higher trading volume doesn't automatically translate into more value for $PONS. The key question is whether new protocol revenue will contribute to buybacks and sustainable token demand.
IMO, the bigger opportunity isn't simply launching another Perps DEX.
It's connecting Meme Launchpad + Spot + Perps + Tokenized Assets into one integrated trading ecosystem on Robinhood Chain.
PONS has an opportunity to evolve beyond meme speculation.
The real test is whether it can turn trading activity into sustainable ecosystem value.
#PONS #RobinhoodChain #Perps #DeFi #OnchainTrading #Crypto #Memecoins #RWA
Aave just made an important move for the entire DeFi industry.
Aave Labs, alongside Kamino and Veda, has submitted a legal framework to the SEC arguing that decentralized lending protocols and non-custodial vaults should not automatically fall under federal securities laws.
The underlying argument is worth paying attention to.
1/ No Custody, No Promise
Users retain control of their assets. Protocols don't take custody or promise investment returns in the traditional sense.
2/ DAO Governance Is Not Investment Management
Setting interest rates, collateral requirements and liquidation parameters doesn't necessarily mean a DAO is managing users' investments.
3/ Focus on Transactions, Not Tokens
A receipt token shouldn't automatically turn an otherwise non-security lending transaction into a securities transaction. What matters is the actual economic and legal relationship.
4/ Not All Vaults Are Equal
Autonomous smart contract vaults are fundamentally different from actively managed vaults. The more discretion a curator exercises, the greater the potential regulatory implications.
Why does this matter?
Because regulatory clarity could unlock a much bigger opportunity for DeFi:
Institutional capital entering onchain markets.
Tokenized stocks and traditional assets becoming usable as collateral.
More efficient onchain credit markets.
DeFi evolving into genuine financial infrastructure.
One important distinction: this is an industry legal submission, not an SEC approval or binding regulatory determination.
IMO, the bigger story is that DeFi is moving beyond speculation and yield farming.
It's positioning itself as the financial infrastructure for the next generation of capital markets.
The battle for DeFi's future is no longer just about technology. It's also about defining the legal framework that allows this technology to scale.

PONS is at an interesting crossroads.
The challenge is no longer proving that people can launch and trade tokens on Robinhood Chain. It has already demonstrated that.
The real challenge is turning early momentum into sustainable growth.
There are 5 key issues PONS needs to address:
Declining activity: The explosive trading activity during the early meme cycle is cooling down. Can PONS maintain meaningful volume without relying on speculative hype?
Competition: Launchpad infrastructure is becoming increasingly commoditized. Speed and low fees alone are not a sustainable moat.
Token quality: Launching thousands of tokens means very little if most fail to retain liquidity, users and meaningful trading activity after graduation.
Buyback sustainability: Buybacks and burns are only as strong as the protocol revenue supporting them. Real demand must come before tokenomics.
Ecosystem dependency: PONS benefits enormously from Robinhood Chain, but relying too heavily on a single ecosystem also creates concentration risk.
IMO, the next chapter for PONS should be about evolving beyond a meme launchpad.
The bigger opportunity is becoming a core onchain trading and liquidity infrastructure layer, connecting memecoins, tokenized stocks, stablecoins and DeFi.
The market has already seen what PONS can do during a speculative boom.
Now it needs to prove what it can build when the hype fades.
The next phase is about sustainability, not just activity.

I think the biggest opportunity for LONG is still ahead.
Tokenized stocks are just the entry point.
The real upside comes when equities become programmable assets that can be used across DeFi:
• Collateral for lending
• Deep liquidity pairs
• Structured financial products
• 24/7 global markets
• Composable financial primitives
Robinhood is bringing stocks to more people.
Traditional exchanges are bringing existing infrastructure onchain.
LONG has a different opportunity: building entirely new financial markets that couldn't exist in TradFi.
The moat won't come from listing more stocks. It will come from liquidity, composability, distribution, and ecosystem adoption.
If LONG gets these pieces right, it could become much more than a tokenized stock platform.
It could become a new layer of onchain financial infrastructure.
#LONG #TokenizedStocks #RWA #DeFi #OnchainFinance #Tokenization #TradFi #RealWorldAssets #Crypto #OnchainLiquidity
Want to dive a bit into this. Seeing a lot of confusion. TradFi is very nuanced and different from crypto protocols.
At a high level, this is not stock vs stock tokens or TradFi vs crypto, but more about TradFi Company A vs TradFi Company B. LONG and a large part of RH’s stock token vision come out ahead.
@RobinhoodApp history is useful context here. Financial disruption will always have some tension, but long term, innovation can increase total value even if it changes how the pie is being divided.
Making investing more accessible also changed who captured the economics. Some legacy brokers + exchanges like NASDQ resisted these models because they saw them funneling trading volume and revenue away from them.
Eventually, retail participation through models like those Robinhood pioneered helped bring more volume and net new people who might never have participated in these markets or their upside otherwise.
Let’s start with a few explanations:
ICE: A group that owns NYSE. They mostly focus on a trading fee model and futures, options, and energy markets. You can infer from this why TradeXYZ and Polymarket are in deep strategic collaboration with them.
NASDAQ: Facilitates trading but also listings, kind of like the chain where you TGE first. They made $1.5B in net revenue last quarter from listing fees, providing data for indices, and doing IR and marketing for listed companies.
tldr not very similar to the current primitive of stock tokens, what RH or LONG does.
The OKX ICE tokenization plan uses the latest SEC innovation exemption, which enables building a permissioned exchange that runs on a DEX. It has a LOT of limits, from KYC to restrictions on transfers (you can only buy or sell the stock, not send it out to a defi protocol or another wallet), and so on. This is effectively a centralized exchange that runs on DEX infrastructure and enables ICE to set up a business similar to NASDAQ without going through the same licensing and regulatory requirements.
1. Where is most stock trading taking place today?
Neither ICE nor NASDAQ, but off exchange, through retail trades via market makers, dark pools, and so on(*this is where RH stock tokens sit as well*)
For a stock like NVDA, 3x the volume takes place on NASDAQ compared to ICE. Therefore, this is more about NASDAQ trying to counter ICE taking its market share. Not about NASDAQ getting the whole pie for itself, which is impossible with the current market structure. That would mean people would be blocked from trading NVDA on retail brokerage apps like Robinhood.
2. Why do public companies object?
If you’re a company and you paid fees for services + listings that are provided within an agreement on NASDAQ, why would you let another project bypass that when the value prop is unclear and this is just another exchange with different infrastructure? The same way companies take down content based on IP rights, even if it’s just a random tweet. The other element here is that the innovation exemption was a bit rushed out and gave companies only 30 days to object, so the default is to object first and negotiate later.
3. What do public companies listed on OKXICE get?
Some information is not provided, but it appears they don’t get any services. Compared to NASDAQ or NYSE, where you keep your company listed and get all sorts of services. Here, none.
4. How does LONG win here?
Going back to the main assumption we had with LONG: trading tokenized stocks by itself is not interesting enough. The value prop is net new markets that are only possible through composability and programable assets.
Stock pairs on LONG have proven to:
1. Create a sink for the stock by using a deep liquidity design. This is like getting listed within an onchain ETF that takes some supply “forever.” Great for the stock’s health.
2. Provide distribution to a net new audience, plus mindshare, including an international audience that is not trading stocks and people discovering stocks for the first time through a viral form factor and actual stock based communities.
3. Bootstrap insane amounts of onchain liquidity that keep the stock price in sync 24/7. The major concern for these companies is having a depeg every day and backlash from holders.
We don’t have a strong opinion on which side to pick. We don’t have a horse in this race, but we see again how much disruption tokenization is bringing and how each step introduces a new layer of alignment LONG can capitalize on.
LONG.

BTC holding or losing key support.
Spot CVD: are buyers or sellers controlling the market?
Funding rates and Open Interest: is leverage building too quickly?
Exchange inflows: is potential sell-side supply increasing?
24–48 Hours | Confirmation
Look for follow-through rather than a temporary price reaction:
Does BTC reclaim resistance or continue making lower highs?
Is ETH/BTC showing relative strength?
Are spot volumes supporting the move?
Are stablecoin inflows and liquidity improving?
48–72 Hours | Capital Rotation
Determine whether the move is spreading beyond BTC:
ETH spot demand and ETH/BTC momentum.
DEX volume and liquidity depth.
Stablecoin deployment across DeFi.
RWA and tokenized asset transaction activity.
Three possible outcomes:
Bullish: BTC holds support, spot demand strengthens, ETH/BTC rises and DeFi liquidity expands.
Bearish: BTC loses support, spot selling increases and leverage remains crowded.
Neutral: Price moves sideways, spot demand remains weak and liquidity shows no meaningful expansion.
The 24–72 hour window isn't a prediction that the market must move within three days. It's a structured observation period to separate short-term noise from sustained capital flows.
React to confirmation, not anticipation.

$PONS: Is Another Weak Week Ahead?
The broader crypto market is still facing pressure, and PONS isn't immune.
But there's an important distinction between short-term price weakness and the underlying ecosystem fundamentals.
Here's what I'm watching:
1. Macro & Market Sentiment
BTC needs to regain momentum before smaller ecosystem tokens can attract meaningful capital again. Risk appetite remains fragile.
2. Onchain Activity
PONS still shows meaningful trading activity, with approximately $42.95M in 7-day DEX volume and $3.18M in fees.
This suggests that ecosystem activity hasn't disappeared, even as price sentiment weakens.
3. Liquidity Is Key
More trading activity doesn't automatically translate into price appreciation. Liquidity depth, net buying pressure, and whale behavior will determine how sustainable any recovery can be.
4. The Robinhood Chain Narrative
Tokenized stocks, RWA, DeFi infrastructure, and new trading opportunities remain important long-term catalysts.
However, ecosystem growth must eventually translate into tangible value capture for $PONS.
My Take:
I'm leaning toward a neutral-to-bearish outlook for PONS over the next 7 days.
A technical rebound is possible, but I want to see stronger buying volume, improving liquidity, and a broader market recovery before calling a trend reversal.
The real test isn't whether PONS can pump during a bullish market.
It's whether the ecosystem can maintain real economic activity when speculation fades.
Short-term price action. Long-term fundamentals.
Keep them separate.

LONG Is Building More Than an App. It's Building a Growth Engine.
Nate's latest update reveals something important about LONG's next phase.
The goal is no longer just surviving the next crypto cycle. It's building a system that can consistently create new products, attract new users, and generate new economic activity.
I see 4 major strategic shifts:
1. From Trenches to PVE Sandbox
Turning the trenches into an isolated PVE environment creates a more controlled ecosystem where early adopters, assets, and communities can interact and grow without relying entirely on speculative market cycles.
2. From Crypto-Native to Broader Distribution
The bigger opportunity is connecting existing crypto communities with entirely new audiences.
Crypto-native users bring early liquidity and assets. External users bring new demand, capital, and adoption.
3. From Single Products to Continuous Innovation
The ambition to consistently produce game-changing systems is important.
LONG's long-term advantage shouldn't depend on one successful product. It should come from its ability to repeatedly create new use cases across tokenized assets, RWA, DeFi liquidity, and community-driven financial products.
4. From Narrative to Sustainable Economic Activity
An expanding app distribution network only matters if it translates into real usage.
More builders → More quality assets → More users and volume → More fees → Deeper liquidity → Better trading conditions.
That's the growth flywheel LONG needs to build.
My Take:
The real thesis behind LONG is ecosystem expansion, not simply launching another app.
PVE creates room for the ecosystem to grow. New systems create demand. Distribution brings new users and capital. Liquidity connects everything.
But the next stage must prove that this vision translates into sustainable usage, recurring revenue, and tangible value capture for $LONG.
The vision is getting bigger.
Now execution becomes the differentiator.
LONG.

Was spending the last few days onboarding new team members and accelerating our app development.
Getting there.
Since day 1 we’ve tried to achieve two goals:
1. Rebuilt the trenches into an isolated PVE sandbox
2. Giving this “sandbox”: our early adopters, assets, and communities access to net new audience/flows.
We need to make sure LONG can produce game changers “new systems” consistently and not just hold still and wait for another cycle.
If we execute right for the imminent next leg the app will expand dist within and outside of crypto in a very systemic way.
We also lined up some quick wins for next week. As always balance between a bigger vision 🤝 and day-to-day execution.
LONG.
