Introducing Custom instructions! This feature lets you give ChatGPT any custom requests or context which you’d like applied to every conversation. Custom instructions are currently available to Plus users, and we plan to roll out to all users soon! openai.com/blog/custom-instr…
Here are some use cases we’ve heard from our early testers:
- Expertise calibration: Sharing your level of expertise in a specific field to avoid unnecessary explanations.
- Language learning: Seeking ongoing conversation practice with grammar correction.
- Localization: Establishing an ongoing context as a lawyer governed by their specific country’s laws.
- Novel writing: Using character sheets to help ChatGPT maintain consistent understanding of story characters in ongoing interactions.
- Response format: Instructing ChatGPT to consistently output code updates in a unified format.
- Writing style personalization: Applying the same voice and style as provided emails to all future email writing requests.

Glad you enjoyed my @TheMirrorBooks autobiography Love, Pain & Money.
Interesting to hear about the Kenya connection. 🇰🇪 – at London, England

Currently reading several books 📚 at the same time. I tend to read several chapters at a time, and many books, vs in one sitting an entire book. Besides, I love ❤️ getting nuggets of wisdom from each chapter, savour this, ponder, reflect, action on what has been learned then continue.
My favourite people, who really inspire me @WangariMaathai Winner of the Noble Peace Prize Winner, Wangari founded the Green Belt Movement in Kenya.
She was the first woman to obtain a PhD and Head a University Department in Kenya 🇰🇪 Nairobi University. Her phenomenal daughter, @MathaiWanjira is incredible 🤩🌟. Imagine being raised by such a mama!
Wangari was instrumental in my love 😍 for ecology, botany, understanding the crucial need to have green spaces. Karura Forest 🌳 is absolutely stunning! She fought tirelessly, and in brutal regimes to save this beautiful place, saved from putting up buildings for future generations. @karurafriends Her legacy lives forever.
I’ve run in Karura Forest for exercise and thank her all the time quietly for her contributions.
Next, is John Caudwell, @JohnDCaudwell @caudwellkids Stafffordshire’s finest businessman. An entrepreneur who has literally changed the world, through his vision to invest in mobile phones early on. He founded Phones4U, a property investor and our extraordinary man, who does an inordinate amount of charitable work.
John donates 70% of his wealth to charity. His house in Staffordshire is a historic landmark.
John, before I arrived in England, while living in Kenya, I believe the house you own is linked directly to Kenya’s history and strong links to Staffordshire from Lord Erroll and Ewart Scott Grogan who pioneered and went on a trip from“Cape to Cairo” to win over the affections of Lady Gertrude, @GertrudesHosp in Kenya.
As well it’s linked with Josiah Wedgewood - @wedgewood
I need to definitely check if I am correct, but certainly know it has links to Kenya called “Happy Valley” / White Mischief.
White Mischief is also an excellent book to read.
Plodding through these, but love it! 😍😍
Thank you for changing the world. We love you all and appreciate you. Contine to soar. 🚀✨🌟💫
I got married at Lord Erroll’s and it was fanastic knowing it’s history to yesteryear - lord-erroll.com/.
@KarenBlixenCamp is another stunning magical place to visit. The film 🍿 Out of Africa was in this location. Absolutely stunning. #magicalkenya #temebeakenya 🇰🇪

After Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin, Ernest Chain (pictured) alongside Howard Florey, was instrumental in the isolation of the antibiotic.
This led to a pharmaceutical that could be produced in large quantities. All three received the 1945 #NobelPrize.

Gendered Constitutionalism in the Global South was a lot of hard work but also fun, I have made lifelong intellectual friendships with @Dineshasam; @AMDziedzic; @TanjaHerklotz; @SengeEmmah and Alma Laiadhi. We're happy to share this with the world, enjoy the read.
Replying to @WCL_VRU
For the second symposium, "Gendered Constitutionalism in the Global South", Martha Gayoye (@GayoyeIyadi) invited scholars from or working on Africa and South Asia to ‘ask the woman question’ of constitutions in the Global South.
