"Idiocracy" was clearly not only a documentary, but one that actually underplayed reality.
The only thing that remains to be established is how its makers got their hands on a damn time machine.
1st off, 29.9792458 and 299,792,458 only "match" in the sense that they share the same sequence of digits.
2nd, 29.9792458°N is not "the" latitude that passes through the Great Pyramid, but only "A" latitude line out of thousands when expressed with 7-decimal precision.
Hey @Grok, don’t you find it odd that the latitude that passes through the Great Pyramid is 29.9792458°N.
And that number matches the exact speed of light in meters per second of 299,792,458?

This seems like a great time to reshare my favourite Sir Patrick Stewart performance, ‘What has the ECHR ever done for us?’ It’s just perfect in every possible way … including the ending 😂😂😂 RIP.

"84% of patients DECLARED"??
WHAT?!
Was this a study on ivermectin efficacy in cancer or was it a patient satisfaction poll?
How the hell did this even get TO peer-review… even in such a publication of rather dubious reputation?

The heliocentric model has been proven.
In 1610, Galileo turned his telescope to Venus and saw it go through a full cycle of phases, just like our Moon. In Ptolemy's geocentric model, Venus could only ever show a crescent. Full phases prove Venus orbits the Sun 🧵
How the fuck am I even supposed to know if that's the correct email or not? All I can see is literally ONE SINGLE LETTER of the whole damn address. WTF!
Oh, and the number of *** doesn't even correspond to the actual number of letters in each segment. Double WTF!
The moron actually thinks that being interned in a loony bin (after found "not guilty by reason of insanity"), very likely for the rest of his life, is "getting away with it"... Holy fuck!

You are doing this thing we call "cherry picking" just paying attention only to the people you want to look at.
I am only mentioning men because people constantly use this case to demonize women. Every comment about gender is now inundated with "stop killing our kids," "men do bad things, but it's better than murdering children," as if it's exclusively women. You will never acknowledge your own side. You only pay attention to what supports your worldview.
Men do get away with killing children; the only difference is that it doesn't make global headlines when they do. The support is only smaller because the outrage is smaller... but it's still there - otherwise he wouldn't have gotten away with it.

And someone thinks 55 people followed for six months erases 70 years of cardiovascular data — largely because he appears not to have read the literature he is dismissing.
The study is interesting. In a very specific group — people with obesity, prediabetes, and fatty liver — keto improved some short-term metabolic markers more than the comparison diets.
But it did not show fewer heart attacks, fewer strokes, or lower cardiovascular mortality.
Meanwhile, Mediterranean-style diets have been studied for decades, including randomized trials with actual cardiovascular events as outcomes.
A six-month biomarker study can add to the evidence but It does not make the rest of the evidence disappear.
> The Black Obelisk is one artifact among many dozens that authenticates the historicity of the Bible.
No, it doesn't. What it does do is merely confirm what nobody ever questioned – namely that the Bible mentions real people, events and places.
In the mid-9th century BC, the Assyrians under Shalmaneser III waged war against the northern kingdom of Israel.
This was the Battle of Qarqar, dated to 853 B.C.
Shalmaneser’s campaign reflected the rising power of Assyria, a ruthless conquering force from Mesopotamia.
And not surprisingly, Shalmaneser was victorious and forced the king of Israel to pay tribute to him.
The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser is a remarkable stone monument discovered in 1846 by Austen Henry Layard in his excavations at the Assyrian capital of Nimrud, now in northern Iraq.
One panel depicts a man paying homage and presenting gifts to the Assyrian king.
The accompanying inscription identifies the man as “Jehu, son of Omri.”
Jehu and Omri are two kings in the Bible. Jehu followed Omri as a ruler of the northern kingdom of Israel.
Previously their existence had to be taken on faith. Now they have solid historical attestation.
Moreover, on the Black Obelisk we don’t merely read about Jehu; we see him.
Never before had archaeologists witnessed a depiction of what an ancient Israelite king looked like.
The Black Obelisk is one artifact among many dozens that authenticates the historicity of the Bible.
Yeah, they wanted him so bad in the picture that they didn't as much as look at him – and then they carefully used everywhere a photo from some 5 seconds after the actual announcement, when he was just enough to the side to be cropped out of the picture.

In both cases you know LITERALLY YEARS IN ADVANCE when and where it's happening, and detailed scheduling is available months before they start. How much more time do Americans need to "warm up" and "adjust" when they couldn't be bothered for the years preceding the event?

Not to get too inside baseball, but I know from our sales figures that it takes a little time for people (at least Americans) to warm up to the World Cup. With the Olympics, it's like "oh cool, this is happening, maybe I'll adjust my routine to watch more" but it's already over.
What should REALLY put it into perspective is not the 3 things that are dirt cheap in Italy or Europe in general (unless, for some reason, you insist on a particular brand that almost nobody carries). It should be the million other things that cost orders of magnituted less.

No, just people who demonstrably have ties with Russia... like this Tara person taking refuse in Russia, or those youtubers being paid hundreds of thousands by Russia.
Still, not "totally" separate. If it's "totally" anything it's totally related – it's part and parcel of the same fucked up system that, whether by malice or ineptitude (though most likely a combination of both), is set up to profit the rich and fuck common people up the ass
