growing up is realizing that literally no one gives a shit about you
maybe if you do something extremely rare and cool they’ll think about you for 10 min before they promptly forget and start thinking about themselves again
start living for yourself, or keep wasting time
if you were raised by a single mother, you were taught one of the biggest myths of the 21st century.
“if everyone knows im a good person, and im just good to everyone, then no one could possibly dislike me! no one could ever do wrong by me!”
dissolve the false shell of a personality your innerchild created to protect yourself from the world, and give yourself permission to be you.
free you. im rooting for you.
but i have been doing a tremendous amount of inner work in relation to this “vault of undeniable music” to never allow it to have ANY influence over how i view myself or interact with others. that is the mission above all else, dissolve the ego.
it was only in 2023 when i realized i was the only one in my own mind responsible for how i pictured myself in relation to people, in relation to circumstances etc..
“all my life i really always truly felt rejected, i just never knew i had control of that perception.”
no one else is in your mind holding a gun to your head telling you to hold an image of yourself beneath others, beneath him, beneath her, it is only YOU in mind deciding how you should imagine yourself being around others.
I’ve come to the conclusion that im a bit weird, a bit odd, certainly different from most.
and yet i find it quite fascinating how rapping has become this sort of universal language that allows me to communicate to others exactly where ive been and grew up around.
