Sugar's new Mom, Susan, already shares her life with a blind and deaf dog, and with another dog, who has learned with quiet devotion, to be his guide. Susan understood, in the deepest way, what it means to love someone who experiences the world differently and she knew, without doubt, that she could give this little soul the gentle, steady life she deserved. She drove 32 hours round trip from Texas to Georgia just to to get Sugar. Sugar has met her new siblings. She is learning the map of her house with her paws and her heart. She is settling into a life where she is known. 🐶🏡 Her family is learning touch language...learning to speak with their hands so she never has to wonder if she is understood... so she never has to feel alone in the dark or the silence. They are building a language of Love just for her ❣️
