Cannabis killing basal cell carcinomas is one of the strongest indications, and there's even a case report from one of the most accomplished cannabis researchers, Dr. Franjo Grotenhermen, showing this effect.

What if cannabis could fight the brain cancer that still kills most patients in ~14 months? Condensed - GBM is the most common aggressive brain cancer; average survival is only about 14 months. Cannabinoids (from cannabis) may do more than ease chemo nausea—they can directly slow or kill cancer cells. GBM cells have cannabinoid receptors (CB1/CB2). Activating them reduces growth, invasion, and triggers cell death. link.springer.com/article/10…

Cannabis is about more than the cannabinoids! Beyond the cannabinoids, terpenoids, and flavonoids, who knows what the thiols and esters might do.

Could cannabis hold the key to fighting ovarian cancer? Cannabinoids like CBD and CBG stick tightly to a key cancer protein (HER2) and block its activity. CBD binds the strongest, even better than a common cancer drug, while CBG is a close second. CBG is the best at stopping the protein’s signals, with CBD not far behind. Both hook onto critical spots on the protein, messing up its function. In tests, CBD and CBG slowed the growth of HER2-positive ovarian cancer cells, matching traditional drugs. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

Two cannabis compounds shrank chemo-resistant breast tumors 4x vs no treatment! Triple-negative breast cancer is aggressive and often stops responding to the chemo drug doxorubicin. Researchers tested two cannabis compounds, CBC and CBD, together against this resistant cancer. In lab tests, the combo worked better than either compound alone: it slowed cell growth, paused cell division, and cut invasion by about half. It appeared to shut down several cancer growth and survival pathways. Given together, the body absorbed more of each compound. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4167…

Cannabis can help fight glioma brain tumors in dogs just like with humans. This is an incredible success case showing how THC and CBD, combined with radiation, helped beat a terminal glioma in a beautiful dog named Rayban. #thc #cbd #glioma #cannabis #dogs

Black pepper contains beta-caryophyllene, a terpene with CB2 agonist activity, and that may synergize with cannabinoids to deliver stronger anticancer action.
Can Cannabis & Black Pepper Compounds Fight Deadly Brain Tumors? Cannabis compounds: cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG), and cannabidiol (CBD). Black pepper-derived compounds. The compounds strongly bound to GPR55 and PINK1, which are linked to glioblastoma. They showed toxic effects on tumor cells, meaning they could kill or stop the growth of cancer cells. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4056…

Possible Breast Cancer Breakthrough! Activating cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2R) with certain compounds pushes breast cancer cells to become more stable and less aggressive. Using natural or synthetic CB2R-activating compounds for a short time changes cancer cells from a dangerous (basal) type to a less harmful (luminal) type. This treatment makes cancer cells less likely to grow uncontrollably, spread, or start new tumors. The changes stick even under conditions (like growing with other cells, immune system pressure, or physical stress) that usually make cancer cells revert to a more dangerous state. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

CBD slashes tumor spread inpancreatic cancer! PDAC is a very aggressive type of pancreatic cancer that spreads quickly and doesn’t respond well to standard chemotherapy. Why is it hard to treat? The cancer cells change through a process called epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), which makes them more likely to spread (metastasize). Certain signals in the body (like chemokines) help the cancer cells move and invade other tissues. CBD, a non-psychoactive compound from cannabis, shows promise in fighting this cancer. It reduces the activity of proteins that help cancer cells spread, making it harder for PDAC cells to move or invade other parts of the body. CBD reverses the EMT process, turning cancer cells back to a less aggressive state by boosting “good” (epithelial) markers and lowering “bad” (mesenchymal) markers. CBD blocks a molecule called MALAT1, which normally promotes cancer spread by turning on EMT. MALAT1 also activates a pathwa that helps cancer grow and spread, but CBD shuts this pathway down. When used with gemcitabine (a common chemo drug), CBD works even better to reduce MALAT1, EMT, and the cancer-promoting pathway. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/4076…

50+ years of studies just confirmed cannabis compounds (THC, CBD & synthetics) kill cancer cells in labs and animals! How well they work depends on: The type of cancer The dose and form of the cannabinoid How many “docking spots” (receptors) the cancer cells have for the cannabinoid Cannabinoids can fight cancer on their own or make regular chemotherapy drugs work better. They do this by plugging into different receptors in the body and messing with the biological “switches” that cancer uses to grow, spread, and survive. link.springer.com/article/10…
