Thailand 🇹🇭 spent 💸 $90 million per day to invade 🔥 Cambodia.
Cambodia 🇰🇭 spent 💸 $3.5M per day to resist 🛡️ the invasion.
1. 🪖 Military Aspect
1h of F16 cost 💰 $25,000, one laser-guided GBU-12 cost 💰 $30,000, the ATMOS 2000 shells cost 💰 $5,000.
The mobilization of Operation ⚔️ Sattawat, including direct 🪖 military 💰 expenses and ground and air logistic costs, amounted to a total of 💰 $20 million per day.
2. 🤵🏻 Civil and Economic Impact
The border 🔥 closures and the halt in bilateral trade are generating a net loss of 💰 $12-15 million per day.
3. ⛑️ Humanitarian Crisis
The evacuation and care of over 150,000 to 250,000 displaced civilians are costing 💰 millions in medical and food logistics.
4. 🚧 Destruction and Insurance: Damage to civilian infrastructure and soaring insurance premiums for 🚚 transporting goods in the region bring the total to 💰 $90 million in daily losses.
5. 👉 Conclusion
While Thailand 🇹🇭 possesses raw 🪖 military superiority, Cambodia 🇰🇭 has a relative economic 📈 resilience advantage. Thailand is suffering financial 📉 losses much faster (💰 $90 million vs. 💰 $3.5 million in direct expenditures).
🤔 In the long term, Cambodia 😎 could emerge from this conflict 🏆 victorious with a more self-reliant economy even with an economic growth slowed to 4%, while Thailand faces a major ⚠️ economic and social 🧨 crisis.
Peace 🕊️ is in the hands of the Thai 🇹🇭 people!

THAILAND LAUNCHES AIR STRIKES AT CAMBODIA
Thailand has launched air strikes along its disputed border with Cambodia, the Thai military said on Monday, after both countries accused the other of breaching a ceasefire agreement brokered by US President Donald Trump.
At least one Thai soldier has been killed and four wounded in the fresh clashes that broke out around two areas in the easternmost province of Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand's military said in a statement, after its troops came under Cambodian fire.
"The Thai side has now begun using aircraft to strike military targets in several areas," the statement said.
Cambodia's defense ministry said in a statement that the Thai military had launched dawn attacks on its forces at two locations, following days of provocative actions, and added that Cambodian troops had not retaliated.
Thailand's army said Cambodia's military had fired BM-21 rockets towards Thai civilian areas, adding there were no reports of casualties. | via Reuters

BREAKING: Thai soldiers opened fire on civilians in Prey Chan village, Ou Beychoan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, at around 4pm, injuring five civilians, according to preliminary information from local authorities.
Starting from July 29, 2025, at 7:50 AM, immediately after the ceasefire entered into force, Cambodian military personnel were unlawfully captured by Thai soldiers. As of now, there have been 12 days as of August 10, 2025. Cambodia has repeatedly urged Thailand to promptly return all 18 military personnel back to Cambodia in accordance with international humanitarian law and in response to the urgent appeals from various partner countries and international organizations.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia :
I would like to inform the public, as well as national and international journalists, of the following:
At 11 a.m. this morning, Thai armed forces, accompanied by heavy machinery such as excavators, entered An Ses area within Cambodian sovereign territory, and even laid barbed wire, despite strong objections from our forces. It is also worth noting that Cambodia recently arranged a visit by foreign military attachés to those locations on July 30, 2025, clearly demonstrating that these areas are part of Cambodian sovereign territory. This act constitutes a flagrant violation of the ceasefire and poses a grave threat to peace and security along the border between the two countries, as well as to the wider region. Cambodia calls on the international community — particularly partner countries that have worked tirelessly to help achieve this hard-won ceasefire and wish to see it fully and effectively implemented — to demand that Thailand immediately stop its aggressive actions and strictly respect international law, especially Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Press Release from the Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia Phnom Penh, 3 August 2025
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense of the Kingdom of Cambodia would like to inform the general public and the international community that, according to received information at 10:49 a.m. on 3 August 2025, the Thai military, in cooperation with Thai authorities, has instructed its remaining civilians in the border area of Surin Province to evacuate by tonight.
The same sources also confirmed that the Thai military plans to launch attacks along the border starting from the Tamone Thom Temple, Ta Krabey Temple, Preah Vihear Temple, up to the Anseh area. These attacks are expected to commence soon, prior to the scheduled meeting of the Extraordinary Meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on 7 August 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This planned offensive constitutes a violation of the territorial sovereignty of Cambodia before the GBC meeting, and it is a serious breach of the ceasefire agreement mutually agreed upon by both countries on 28 July 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, with Malaysia, the United States, and China as witnesses.
Cambodia appeals to the international community to help prevent this at all costs and urges the Thai side to immediately stop its planned aggression, if this information is true, and to respect the ceasefire agreement fully for the sake of peace and stability along the border areas of both countries and the entire region.
