The FBI found jihadist literature, Hamas propaganda, and artwork depicting beheadings in Körkaya’s home.
In text messages to his comrades, Körkaya said he believed bombings were in his “true nature” and went on to declare that he was “going to go militant because I hate it here.”

Nothing that Russia does is peaceful!
Russia is sending more nuclear scientists to work at Iran’s Bushehr power plant. The Russian company Rosatom says about 700 Russian specialists are helping build the second and third units there. They plan to keep increasing the number of Russian workers at the site.
This is not new. After the Soviet Union ended in 1991, Russia took over the unfinished Bushehr plant in 1995. German companies had started the project earlier, but they left. Russian specialists finished the first unit. It began making electricity in 2011.
During the main building years, the number of Russian workers was very high. In 2002 about 600 Russians were already on site, and the number was expected to reach 2,000. Around 2007 reports said nearly 2,000 Russian workers were there. In 2009 more than 2,500 Russians were working at the plant out of a total of about 3,000 people. After the first unit started working, most Russians left. By 2017 only about 25 Russian experts stayed to help with operations and maintenance. Iran trained its own people to run the plant.
Now Russia is bringing more specialists back for the new units. Numbers go up and down because of problems in the region, but the plan is to reach around 700 Russians again. Russia also signed new deals for more nuclear power units in Iran.
Russia says the work at Bushehr is only for peaceful energy. The plant is checked by international inspectors. At the same time, recent reports say Iranian experts linked to military research visited Russian companies in 2024. They looked for technologies that could help with nuclear weapons work. Most of those meetings happened in Russia, not in Iran.
For more than 30 years Russian nuclear specialists have worked in Iran on the Bushehr project. The numbers were highest during construction and are rising again for the new units.

CENTCOM forces disabled a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman, Nov. 7, after the ship’s civilian crew ignored repeated warnings and attempted to violate the naval blockade against Iran multiple times.
