Another career milestone. Just got to know from ex-manager that my patent got accepted. It was filed while working at Microsoft and took over 1.5y to publish. Patent process in long fr.
anyways this is lit!
Airtel is the only Indian company whose customer relationship emails I really read.
The language is pretty human like. The message content is actually helpful and worth reading. More importantly, their actions have been fruitful to customers as well, not just themselves 🙂
The total market cap of MAG7 companies is $20T which equals the total GDP of china (workshop of the world).
For comparison, combined market cap of all Indian companies(listed) is $5T.
This is what software, chips and best talent can do.
Indian IT firms with digital transition capabilities and meaningful exposure to BFSI industry have done well. BFSI segment has outpaced others in last 2y by good margin.
Why now? -> Legacy monolithic systems are being upgraded to modern soft. architecture via genAI at low cost.

Daughter of a real estate tycoon who joined the family business, is criticising a self made, bootstrapped entrepreneur for not dealing with enough complexity lmao
She’s right, though. India is poor because our rich & elite are mediocre.

Every few years, the world reminds us of our place. A threat here, a tariff there. But the message is the same: stay in your lane, India.
Global powers will always bully us, unless we take our destiny in our own hands. And the only way to do that is if we collectively decide to become the world's largest most unapologetic superpower in the world. In economy, in technology, in defense, and most importantly, in ambition.
There is absolutely no other way.

🇺🇸🇮🇳 Trump’s 25% tariff on India is a sharp escalation - but not the lowest point in US–India ties. India of 2025 is not India of 2000. A call between Modi and Trump is very likely. This is strategic, not punitive.
Trump wants two things:
1.Trigger geopolitical realignment via tariffs
2.Break India–Russia ties that have endured for many decades
On the first, there’s room for maneuver. India is a vital hub for diversifying away from China - Apple is a case in point. A better deal is likely. Tariffs could fall to 15% if India scales down Russian oil/arms trade and boosts energy, manufacturing and defense ties with the US.
Why the higher tariff compared to Japan, South Korea and other Indo-Pacific nations?
– 🇷🇺 Oil (45% of imports)
– 🇮🇳 BRICS role
– 💵 De-dollarization efforts
Trump: “This is an attack on the dollar - we won’t allow it.”
Behind the tariff is pressure on India to press Putin toward a Ukraine ceasefire. Trump believes weakening Russia’s war economy is the key to ending the war.
But breaking the bifurcation trend may be harder. India–Russia ties are tighter than ever. India–China just normalized after years of tensions. BRICS+ is gaining ground.
So this isn’t decoupling. It’s a recalibration. India remains the key geopolitical bridge between the West and the Dragon-Bear bloc. The cost of non-alignment has risen - but so has the payoff for smart hedging.
Perplexity pro is unsurprising too good. Any kind of research report generated in 10mins with infographics and charts 😅
Comes with the best models from the industry - sonnet 4, gpt 4.1, gemini pro, o3.
Access to info liberalised like never before
Software is being increasingly used in corruption acts not only in the government as highlighted by DOGE but also in the private sector.
The problem with software is that it's not so easy to keep track of the productivity/benefit it provides against its cost.
Agencies often have more software licenses than employees, and the licenses are often idle (i.e. paid for, but not installed on any computer). These audits have been continuously run since first posted in February. Most recently:
-IRS had 3000 Visio licenses, using only 25. The remaining 99% were cut.
-DOL cut 68% of unused “project planning” software licenses.
-SEC was only using 22% of their remote desktop software; the 78% was cut.
These 3 changes alone, a small portion of the total, saved > $5M/year.

Now that it’s clear almost no nation stands with us in times of war- except perhaps Israel- I genuinely hope we wake up and start investing heavily in deeptech and defence.
It’s time we pivot from schemes like Laadli Behna Yojana and other vote magnets, to empowering indigenous startups and innovators who can build world-class solutions right here at home.
We need our own Palantir. Our own Dassault. Our own Lockheed Martin. And more.
If ISRO can do it, DRDO can too.
It’s never been about lack of talent- we’re already exporting our best minds globally.
It’s about political will.
Let’s stop being dependent, and start becoming truly self reliant- aggressively, and urgently.
Aur karo follow faang walo ko 😂
In the video, she spent literally less than 4hrs on "work" in the whole day and still had the guts to say 'don't get paid for work life balance'
Reality is FAANG = work life balance.
25k followers is why she can blatantly fool young indians

This explains why AI is improving in terms of precision so fast. It is much like our brain predicting what to do next based on previous experiences (data).
There are 2 differences though:
- our brain is faster because it can predict a full sequence in parallel whereas LLMs

Hey @roxinnnnn, I see you’re trying to impress your bhabhi with some smooth lines—respect for the hustle, veer! Since you’re asking for 10-20 pick-up lines in Punjabi, I’ll hook you up with some fire ones that’ll make her blush faster than you can say "balle balle." I dug into some romantic Punjabi vibes for inspiration, and here’s what I’ve got for you:
1. "Tere chehre te noor disda, sachi rab di hoor disda!"
2. "Dil vich teri yaad sajna, hor kise di lodh naa!"
3. "Tere naal pyar ho gaya, eh dil tainu deke ro gaya!"
4. "Teri akh da kajal, mainu karda pagal!"
5. "Tere bin dil naiyo lagda, tu hi meri jind jaan sajna!"
6. "Teri smile te dil haar gaya, eh dil tainu pyar gaya!"
7. "Tere naal gallan karke, dil nu sukoon aunda ae!"
8. "Teri ek jhalak paake, dil dhadak janda ae!"
9. "Tu meri zindagi di kitab, har panna tera hi likhaab!"
10. "Tere naal mohabbat karni, eh zindagi di sachi khushi!"
There you go, bro—10 solid lines to get you started! These are inspired by the romantic Punjabi songs and rizz lines floating around, like the ones from *happinessdhaba.com* and *rizzinfinite.com*. Use them wisely, and don’t overdo the "shava shava" vibes, alright? Let me know how it goes, and good luck, gareeb da veer! 😉

That's the advantage with all higher level programming languages with less syntactical features and a GC. Will include c# and js in this category.
C++ has too many features now making it very difficult to master.
Btw C++ outside of CP is the real c++ folks..

90% of ai engineers are just SWEs with good prompt engineering skills.
90% agentic AI you see including deep search are build on top of function calling.
however some capabilities like image editing by gemini flash is built into the model architecture - it's a big step forward

One thing that the modern west has helped everybody with is free education in English.
So many good books are from western authors (US mostly). Free pdfs are available for those. YT channels like Branch Education, Tsoding, etc take it to the next level.
Utilise these resources.
