Thanks to some inspiration from @SumRGuy, I finally got around to making a website. I even wrote a small blurb about myself! charalin.carrd.co/#
Next time: an updated reel, or even just a showcase of past works of some kind. Progress! ๐

I love those moments when you realize that somebody genuinely likes youโand not because you're useful or impressive or connected to something they want. They just think you're funny, enjoy your company, and want you around. Beautiful stuff.

Yooo,
If you're connected with me on Discord and get a weird message, don't reply.
Apparently I have a scammer posing as me ๐

Ever since I started my journey into acting, I realize that I consume media differently. I listen to the dialogue of TV shows and movies, dissect the choices that the actors made in that moment. It's really fascinating to me, but it also means that I can't just mindlessly consume media. ๐

Archetypes do not have established, standardized voices.
Why not give that character YOUR voice? ๐ Ideally, your natural, authentic, everyday voice. The one you know how to use at 100% efficiency, capacity, ability, and flexibility. ๐ช๐ค

Looking for a female or gender neutral voice for your project? I'm available! I can put the va-voom in your villains, or the silly-billy in your female protagonist. Need an annoyed Goddess? How about a slick hero? I'm your gal!

You CAN do whatever you want when it comes to art. But anyone who has avoided studies doesn't know the pure novelty and joy of discovering something new and overcoming a challenge. It's addictive, and when you combine it with a passion like drawing you just can't get enough.

One thing that encourages me when I struggle with Scripture or get corrected by another believer: The disciples misunderstood Jesus all the time.
ALL. THE. TIME.
And yet he patiently taught them, corrected them, and used them to build his church.
There's hope for us, too.

Happy to announce that one of our small animations is out!
I was responsiable for all visual parts. Ngl, classic animation went a bit rusty after animating pixel ingame graphics.
Anyway, we have a HUUUGE 3 min project. Stay tuned if you don't mind waiting!

Voice acting may be competitive...
but it's also an extremely SUPPORTIVE industry.
How have YOU experienced encouragement from others in the voice acting community?
