Well over 200,000 babies were born at the Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital that Mayor Hague built to honor his mother. I and my 6 siblings were all born there.
The JC Medical Center was for real. No JC resident ever paid. My father had 2 cancer operations there at age 70. The hospital sent a bill and my mother, a good Irish immigrant Democrat, just filed it away.... The bldgs still stand today
MA and NJ are two of the worst politically corrupt States in America. Jersey City is home town of JC Mayor Frank "I am the Law" Hague from 1917 to 1947. Hague won the 1932 election for FDR who as a "thanks" gave JC the massive federally funded Jersey City Medical Center built during the Depression years. Free health care for every resident.

Cpl Ryan L. Ice was the kind of guy who made an impression on everyone he met. He served five years in the Marine Corps, spending time deployed in Okinawa, Japan.
Ryan was famous for his great sense of humor. He always had a joke ready, bringing warmth and laughter to the Marines who served beside him. He was loved by everyone who crossed his path-and mostly by his wife, Joy.
Just ten days after Ryan and Joy got married, Ryan was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. What came next showed the strength Ryan carried inside him. He always said he wouldn't have survived as long as he did without Joy by his side. Even in the hardest moments, his main focus was making sure his family was taken care of.
On November 3, 2026, Ryan's long battle came to an end. Ryan leaves behind a legacy of pure strength, deep devotion, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.

Questions are being explored as to whether cities such as NYC and LA can allow its non-citizen alien residents to vote in local elections for school boards, city council, etc but not state elections. The Constitution already bans aliens voting in elections for House, Senate members and for the President.

For as old as I am and for all the "things" I have witnessed in my life, I just cannot understand why the nation did what it did 2 days ago.
