The Sunday Market Pulse, our weekly newsletter, is live!!!
We cover what happened last week, why we are still cautiously bullish, and what we are looking for next week
$SPY $QQQ $IWM
$GLDM vs. $VGIT
Last week there was a clear distinction between the two. It seems like in the current market environment, investors are headed towards government bonds over gold.
With high real yields and investors rotating out of equity, they are choosing the yield fixed-income over a yield-less asset class
Something to watch if the equity markets continues to sell off and if yields drop as bonds catch a bid
$NLR
In our long-term wealth portfolio, we leave 5% for a thematic tilt. We are going with $NLR due to the power demand, and we feel like we are at the early stages for how much power will be demanded by society as AI advances.
Sentiment and a high rate environment has made this fund really struggle, but for us this is a long-term play.
$CAT
One of the biggest surprises of 2026 is now in a deep correction
There is a lot of confluence at the 0.618 fib level where the weekly 200WMA will meet it
$SMH
As the AI ecosystem continues on with their correction, we will be watching the semis very closely. $NVDA releases earnings in a couple weeks and $AMD is next week. Current earnings season, with respect to big tech, has been mixed. We have seen some misses from $GOOG and $AMZN, with bearish guidance from $INTC. $MSFT, $META, and $SPCX have been on the more positive side.
With sentiment sitting very low, $NVDA and $AMD are going to have to have strong guidance to keep the bears at bay. The $VIX rallied over 10% and closed above 18 validating a market that is worried and anxious.
This is a screenshot taken from last weeks newsletter, The Sunday Market Pulse.
Here, we not only did we lay out that we were bearish in the short-term, but we showed you exactly why from a technical standpoint and even gave you the first target to look for.
Fridays price action came within 24 points of our forecasted target.
Our approach to the market is a holistic one. We take in the macro, understand what is going on in the equity and bonds markets, study price action through our technical analysis system, and then mesh all of that together in order to provide a forecast and an opinion.

BREAKING: Anthropic is now expected to receive a "high junk" rating from major credit rating agencies after its IPO, which could come as soon as November, per FT.
Details include:
1. Blackstone has told investors that Anthropic likely will not receive an investment-grade rating immediately after its IPO
2. Blackstone is working with banks that stumped up financing on selling the debt on to other investors
3. An investment-grade rating is "central" to Anthropic's ability to continue its AI buildout
4. The company says it expects to spend over $800 billion on computing infrastructure between now and 2045
Debt markets are increasingly in the spotlight as AI funding becomes less abundant.
The price action we’ve seen this week was laid out exactly in our newsletter here. We explained why we were bearish for the short-term and gave you our first price targets.

A frustrating one after seeing a nice bounce earlier in the year, but the fundamentals and technical setup has not changed
Still bullish
With all the focus on AI, big tech, Capex, and the cost of capital; there are opportunities in other sectors of the market that we have been focusing on. Below is one of our favorites and a position we have been sizing up on
$LMND: consolidating at the 0.618 fib level and weekly 200WMA. Revenue growth was +79% YoY, gross profit was +76%, customers grew +23%, and first positive EBITDA expected in Q4.
7,534 is our first target we are watching on the S&P futures $ES_F
We laid out our short-term price forecast for the market. We showed all the technicals that we were seeing that pointed towards selling. Now with $GOOG and $AMZN missing earnings, we are likely see our forecast play out.
For the last several weeks, we have been talking about the biggest bear case being inflation remaining sticky while earnings ease
With $GOOG and $AMZN missing earnings and the markets giving it a very negative reaction, we seem to be trending towards the bear case we laid out. This is exactly why we said we are cautiously bullish moving forward and our short-term forecast was down.
So what needs to happen? Well $NVDA needs a strong beat and raise. $SPCX gave a tremendous earnings report which bolstered the markets for a short amount of time. So earnings are driving a part of the market. $AAPL earnings do not hold as much weight in terms of influence over the AI trade due to their distance from the capex cycle.
The market sentiment is bearish, and $GOOG and $AMZN missing earnings adds some tangible news for the bears to cling too. Recent FOMC highlighted that inflation remains sticky and the current geopolitical landscape remains fluid.
Yields falling could be seen as some relief, but if it is due to investors selling equities and buying up bonds, we may see some more downside in the equity markets.
Credit markets seem to be stable as credit spreads are remaining relatively tight. Our stance right now is short-term we will see some selling, (we laid out our targets and forecasts in our newsletter) and then from there we will need $NVDA to deliver strong earnings and guidance.
The weekly 200WMA for $GOOG is right around $250.
Keep an eye on that level
Capex is not slowing down and the demand for capital continues
$META offered equity to raise money and now $MSFT is looking at the bond market to raise money
Investment grade corporate bonds remain healthy and credit spreads remain tight
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is launching a 10-part high-grade bond offering for the first time since 2017 to help fund its massive AI investments, per Bloomberg.
The bonds will have maturities ranging from 2 to 40 years, with proceeds used for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures.
AI-related borrowing continues to surge.
