I just offered to buy a business for the first time.
Well, sort of.
I made a cold offer to buy the customer-base of a broken and defunct SaaS tool, offering a per user bump depending on their MAUs or YAUs.
They'd shut down, forward to me, and I'd grandfather in their users.
Every episode of Star Trek: The Original Series in 1966...
"The AI took over their planet because this developing species is fucking stupid and didn't think to fragment AI specialization and build an off switch."
@OpenAI in 2026: Let's centralize AI and not build an off switch.

When I was a teen in the 90s, I'd code websites on weekend nights listening to Tampa Trance, Florida Breaks, & Miami Bass DJs via broadcast on their native Florida radio residencies.
FF to 2026: AI vibecoding with a VPN hop over to London for BBC Asian Network Certified Mixes.
@djtweakofficial knows what I'm talking about.

Bruh, if you want to revive it, I'm in.

Me: "Not broken. Only used for testing while I build in the open.👌"

Some of you dont hate AI.
You hate that the guy with the idea no longer needs your permission to build it.
The first project I started vibecoding is in month 12 of development. I'm expecting 3 more until MVP is reached.
People don't care how long something takes to make. Its what the thing does for them or how it makes them feel. Vibe coding isn't the issue.

"AI is ruining the environment."
Bitch, I drive a hybrid & live in a small house that I'm paying out the ass to make energy efficient.
My AI usage is ONLY 15% of the increased emissions I'd generate by switching to a truck like you assholes drive.
15 percent... OF THE DELTA!!!
A lot.
You could use the same argument against a SCRUM Master or Project Manager. Or a supervising director over a software project.
Looks like they're doing nothing.
Project doesn't get done (right) without them.
Who is the we? How good are they? How good was their vision and market alignment? How well did they vibecode or have human support for security, audits, compliance?
Software should get cheaper.
That doesn't mean AI is the reason.
I once spent an entire day using CSS as a buffer language between me and AI so it would understand a simple layout request.
POINT: You still have to know what you're doing, what it implies, and the high-level view of how it's done to vibecode properly.
One developer can outpace entire corporate departments.
In a way, AI accidentally introduced craftsmanship into the modern world for small teams with ownership.
Luckily, the AI that made that picture is not the AI that is teaching or performing research... unless people don't have access to other models.
Democratized and open access to AI may need to be considered a utility, like South Korea, or even a human right.
Yes, I said it.
South Korea is transforming generative AI into a no-cost public utility.
