America, you voted just like Donald Trump wanted.
You voted as if he was on the ballot.
Congratulations and welcome back.
Change has finally come.
Let it not be elusive.

American oligarchs aren't going to deal with this problem
It's time we regulate social media in Canada
We must see social media for what it is: a Russian weapon dismantling world order and undoing the fabric of Western societies
It's a weapon that they're using it against us
Here here!
Absolutely, Canada holds all the cards.
The Great Tariff Bluff: Why Canada Has Already Won the Trade War -
Despite Washington’s boasting, the economic vocal noize coming from south of our border cannot hide the fact that the United States has lost its leverage.
See, IF a trade pact is struck in the coming weeks, the White House will undoubtedly spin it as a massive victory for America First isolationism.
lol...but, you amazing Canadians, DON'T buy into the hype.
The TRUE victor of this economic standoff is already deciding the terms, and it's us...
we the North...
Canada won this fight the moment Prime Minister Carney walked away from the negotiating table in August.
This administration knew it.
By refusing to capitulate to Washington’s demands—which threatened Canadian auto workers, weakened French-language protections, and restricted Canada's absolute SOVEREIGN right to sign independent global trade deals—Ottawa drew an unyielding line in the Canadian dirt, bud.
Canada’s rapid, dollar-for-dollar retaliatory duties immediately squeezed key American industries, effectively neutralizing Trump's leverage.
Now, with the U.S. administration facing highly volatile midterms and looking for a quick economic win, and probably looking for something even AFTER their impending massive loss on the horizon, Washington is the one bending back to resume discussions..
DC will bend the knee to Canada.
Canada holds ALL the cards. The REAL deck. The cards that MATTER.
Whether an agreement is finalized under this administration or the next, Ottawa has successfully protected its cultural sovereignty and industrial base.
Trump’s rhetoric is being exposed as a total stupid bluff, forcing MAGA architects to accept a fair, mutually beneficial deal they vowed they would never grant.
So, you incredible Canucks...no matter how the White House frames the outcome if this comes to fruition, Canada has already won.

Another thing, if you plan to use this as leverage, then it isn’t going to work.
Canadians are on you and sick of the bullshit.
Join us, or fuck off!
Yes, Quebec, you can have a French oasis in North America.
Like hell, grow the fuck up.
We are sick of your bullshit, and if you want to really leave, get the fuck out of here.
I used to respect you.
I will never stick up for Quebec again.
I used to, but never again.
Once again, you voted in a separatist government, so fuck you make your bed, you sleep in it.
There better be a goddamn backlash and a goddamn good one at that.
This Quebec government is garbage. Total garbage.
Quebec, do better!

“Donald Trump has been the worst president this country has ever had. And, I don't say that hyperbolically. He is. But he is a consequential president. And, he has brought this country in three short years to a place of weakness that is simply unimaginable if you were pondering where we are today from the day where Barack Obama left office. And, there were a lot of us on that day who were deeply skeptical and very worried about what a Trump presidency would be. But this is a moment of unparalleled national humiliation, of weakness.”
"When you listen to the President, these are the musings of an imbecile. An idiot. And I don't use those words to name call. I use them because they are the precise words of the English language to describe his behavior. His comportment. His actions. We've never seen a level of incompetence, a level of ineptitude so staggering on a daily basis by anybody in the history of the country who’s ever been charged with substantial responsibilities.”
"It's just astonishing that this man is president of the United States. The man, the con man, from New York City. Many bankruptcies, failed businesses, a reality show, that branded him as something that he never was. A successful businessman. Well, he's the President of the United States now, and the man who said he would make the country great again. And he's brought death, suffering, and economic collapse on truly an epic scale."
"And, let's be clear. This isn't happening in every country around the world. This place. Our place. Our home. Our country. The United States. We are the epicenter. We are the place where you're the most likely to die from this disease. We're the ones with the most shattered economy. And we are, because of the fool that sits in the Oval Office behind the Resolute Desk.

The Illusion of Progress: The Hidden Strategy Behind U.S.-Canada Trade Talks Right Now:
American politicians are currently claiming that a massive trade agreement with Canada is right around the corner.
But, this sudden optimism is actually a strategic political move ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
By holding back and keeping the deal unfinished, Republicans can use the promise of a trade victory as a "carrot on a stick" to win over undecided voters in critical border states.
Finalizing an agreement now would cause them to lose this valuable leverage.
Remarkably, even IF Republicans lose control of both the House and the Senate in the upcoming midterms, delaying the deal remains their best move.
After the elections, the administration can completely BYPASS a divided or uncooperative Congress by using direct executive actions and aggressive tariffs to get exactly what they want from international trade.
This transactional American reality is something that I believe Canadian leadership ALREADY entirely anticipates.
Over the past two to six weeks, we have witnessed an unprecedented, highly visible counter-offensive, with our Prime Minister, the federal government, and provincial Premiers showing up en masse on the frontlines of trade advocacy.
This aggressive, coordinated damage-control push proves that Canadian officials know EXACTLY what is coming down the pipe—and, more importantly, what is NOT.
They recognize that despite Canada’s vital role in integrated supply chains, the country will NOT get the fair treatment or trade outcomes it truly deserves.
Instead, it is increasingly obvious that the Americans are dragging out the process and manufacturing trade conflicts purely as a political STUNT to secure border-state votes for Trump.
Canada is definitely NOT being fooled by this American strategy, but they are willingly playing along with the narrative to protect their own interests.
To make this work, Canadian leaders are currently managing two different situations at home.
On one hand, officials are making public statements that they are fully ready to negotiate, which keeps the financial markets steady and prevents any diplomatic tension.
...On the other hand, they are quietly reassuring domestic industries that NO actual concessions will be made before the U.S. election.
By seemingly cooperating with the American timeline, Canada allows the U.S. to get the positive headlines needed for their political agenda, while Canada avoids giving up anything of value.
The Carney government knows how greasy the administration in the U.S. is.
It's obvious this is a ploy on the American side that won't come to fruition.
And if it does, it's because the Americans gave us EXACTLY what we demanded.

I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head.
Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion.
The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin.
This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength
