Some lady just pulled the “Do you work here?” card on me at the Basel Sky Lounge! Why do I feel targeted? Five people in the lounge, and she walked straight up to me, the only Black person! I just laughed it off… kwasabu! What gave me away? My excellent customer service face? 😂

Yoh!
I’m convinced 90% of a founder's job is to just do 3 things: - be delusional in your optimism - push everyone to move faster - make it crystal clear what to work on

If you ever get anything right, let it be working with people who genuinely enjoy who they serve! My team has lifted & fuelled me this week with their dedication, energy & commitment. I’m so grateful for them and because of them, I’ll work even harder❤️

Mad respect to all the #Founders who came before me! 🙌🏽 Anyone who has built something from scratch, navigated many arms of the journey, and persevered with grit, faith, and sheer determination🙌🏽

“Nimefanya nini?” Those were his last words as Associate Editor Alex Kiprotich was bundled into the dark along the Gilgil-Nakuru road. We demand his immediate, safe and unharmed return! #TheSituationRoom

Looking for a high school Drama/Acting or Elocution teacher in Eldoret who can teach young people confident speaking, pronunciation and voice projection. Any recommendations or connections? 🙏🏾

💯
The person closest to a problem doesn’t automatically have every answer. But they probably know something the rest of the room doesn’t. Start there.

Someone is paving way for WSR or Sifuna’s DP candidacy

Neither is it all good in Kiambu, Machakos, Baringo, Kericho, Mombasa or Nairobi. Took a few screengrabs from the Wizileaks site. Stop by and check it out:

Must be so hard for @edwinsifuna, having the full picture of the #Homabay aftermath. It’s so unfortunate & I really hope action will be taken against @gpdkaluma & others who publicly & privately incited & sponsored goons. This can’t become the norm in our country! @kipmurkomen

It’s unfortunate that unemployment/hopelessness have made young people in Ke, esp Nyanza, easy targets for political manipulation. Instead of finding solutions, some leaders exploit their desperation for a few shillings & invite violence. HomaBay today is a painful illustration.

Anyway, register to vote… especially youth & women. Numbers still low. Only 25 percent of women in the 18-40 age group who are eligible to vote are registered to vote.
