NEWS RELEASE: Halton District School Board commemorates National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 29: bit.ly/3EXJD0K
I don't do movies, I do concerts. I remember my first, Bryan Adams at the CNE 1985. I have wanted to see PINK forever!! Behind us are 2 girls and their mom. I remember this moment. We will stand all night to make this a night that they remember. Nothing better than live music.
So important @thierck! Educators often do better at spending time on self care over the summer. Reconnecting to the people and things that bring joy. Friends and colleagues, this summer let's work on creating habits that ensure we continue self care during the school year.

In truth this award could/should be, National Award for Teaching Excellence! She is exceptional above and beyond the magic she creates in PHE. Anyone who has the privilege to know her is a better human for it. I'm so blessed and grateful to call her friend.
This afternoon, Milena Trojanovic, teacher @BOYNEhdsb, was interviewed by @CHCHNews following news she received the PHE Canada National Award for Teaching Excellence in Physical and Health Education.
Look for the story on tonight’s newscast starting at 6 pm!
Way to go Milena!👏

My classroom management improved when I focused more on creativity and collaboration and less on compliance. Instead of trying to catch kids doing things wrong, we celebrated the amazing things they did well, and those “things” got exponentially better because the fear was gone. – at Essex, Ontario
Great turnout for Movie Night. Thank you to the many families who helped with set up and handing out pizza and snacks. We have the best community!
Getting to work with this incredibly engaged group for the past 3 Tuesday evenings has taught me even more about how to be an effective and impactful mentor. Thank you for being vulnerable in your learning and providing such rich discussions about this work.
Thank you for your contributions to our rich discussions. We're looking forward to continuing our learning together for the next two weeks

When kids show up late for school, they still showed up. Thank them, not scold them.
