Imagine buying your forever home and suddenly getting slapped with a $2,500 monthly HOA fee just to live in it. This nightmare is actually happening right now in North Carolina, and it is sparking absolute outrage. The crisis peaked during a tense Zoom meeting for the Magnolia Cove subdivision in Sherrills Ford. The developer-controlled HOA board originally threatened residents with a crushing $7,500 a month ($90,000 a year). After intense pushback, the board backed off that extreme figure but still voted to double the current rate to $2,500 a month amounting to $30,000 a year just in association fees. To put that into perspective, five years ago these exact same families were paying just $158 a month. Dues climbed to $1,250 earlier this year alongside a massive $10,000 special assessment and have now doubled again. This represents a nearly 1,500% increase, leaving homeowners facing foreclosure because they simply cannot afford to pay. According to the developer-run board, the astronomical spike is driven by legal expenses and widespread delinquency. A group of homeowners previously sued the HOA, triggering massive litigation costs. While the homeowner claims were dismissed, the HOA won a major $3 million defamation judgment back against those residents. Now, because so many accounts in the neighborhood are delinquent, the remaining homeowners are being forced to shoulder the bill. Desperate for a lifeline, residents reached out to the state, only to hit a legal brick wall. The North Carolina Attorney General’s office confirmed that there are absolutely no state statutes capping how much an HOA can charge. As long as a board follows its own corporate governing documents, it can legally charge whatever it wants. Homeowners are completely trapped. They cannot afford the fees, and they cannot sell their properties because no buyer will touch a house with a $2,500 monthly HOA bill. As resident Jill Menson put it: "Nobody is helping us." Should state governments step in and legally cap HOA fee hikes, or should developers maintain total control over these budgets?

Abandoned at a market, he found himself a little place to sleep amongst old, unwanted things. People came and went. Sellers packed up their stalls and went home to their families. But he stayed behind. Alone Surrounded by things that nobody wanted anymore.

This appears to be a police overreaction After watching this 2-minute, 55-second video of the police entry at the home, do you believe the scale of the response appeared proportionate? The charges concerning a Facebook post were later dismissed (Freedom of speech, etc...) Those posts included security-camera footage documenting what happened at the home on December 16, 2025. The police response appears excessive. The concerns also include damage to the property and the disconnection of the interior security cameras. They have not provided a copy of the warrant to this date, and they have not provided a complete list of the items taken or a clear answer from the Hoover Police Department about any missing property.

Sam Altman is laying the ground work to take away everyone’s computers so he can use the RAM to build more data centers. Someday soon folks are going to wish they had listened to the socialists instead of these psychotic tech billionaires.

🚨 𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗘𝗟𝗧𝗬 | 𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗡 𝗧𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘, 𝟲𝟰, 𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗡𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗, 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗟𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗔𝗡 — 𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗥, 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗕𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 A defenceless dog was struck twice over the head with a hammer, stabbed through the chest and left to die in agony. Her owner then concealed her body in woodland. Glenn Tweedie, 64, initially told Scottish SPCA inspectors that his black Labrador, Caillie, had been euthanised by a vet because she was suffering pain linked to her reproductive cycle. But when an inspector said he would verify the story with the vet, Tweedie admitted he had killed her himself, claiming he could not afford the veterinary bill. His own account was horrifying. He struck Caillie twice over the head with a hammer, leaving her conscious and in extreme pain, before stabbing her through the chest with a large knife. He had aimed for her heart but pierced her lung instead. A post-mortem found no evidence of the reproductive-system pain he had claimed she was suffering from. The evidence indicated that her suffering began when he attacked her. The stab wound caused catastrophic blood loss, leaving her to bleed to death. Afterwards, he put Caillie’s body in a bag and took her to nearby woodland. Her remains were discovered at the bottom of a ditch, hidden beneath branches. His other Labrador, Jura, was seized and taken into Scottish SPCA care. On 28 October 2026, Tweedie was sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court. He received a lifetime ban on keeping animals, a 12-month Restriction of Liberty Order and an 18-month supervision order. No prison sentence was imposed. The Scottish SPCA inspector described it as the most upsetting case he had encountered in three years, calling it “the most eye-wateringly violent conduct towards a completely innocent pet”. Caillie endured repeated blows, a fatal stab wound and a prolonged death. Her body was then hidden in a ditch. Yet her killer walked away without a prison sentence. How is the public supposed to have confidence in animal cruelty sentencing when a case involving this level of violence ends without immediate imprisonment? Source UKACF.

“Our children will learn of it with their own eyes.” That is where America is headed if we keep sleepwalking. A nation founded by men who risked everything for liberty now has people begging government, banks, Big Tech, and unelected bureaucrats to control more of their lives, money, speech, guns, and children. Our forefathers fought a war over tyranny. We hand it over one app, one mandate, one digital account, and one “emergency” at a time. History will not ask what party you belonged to. It will ask what you did while freedom was being traded away.

Police shoot Black man having a seizure with taser—7 times. He was putting up Halloween decorations outside his own home. EMS was treating him after he collapsed in his yard. "All of a sudden a cop shows up, shoves everyone out the way, and jumps on top of him," brother said. The officer has only been identified as Sgt. Price with the Chattahoochee Police Department. He claims he was just trying to assist EMS with a "combative individual" and encountered "physical resistance." Dwight Jackson is the man attacked by the cop. He says was not intentionally combative—was defenseless and only experiencing a medical emergency. Dwight Jackson described the experience as being "more terrifying than being in the war." Incident occurred outside his house on Chattahoochee Street in Chattahoochee, Florida.

An Ohio farmer tears up talking about a data center being built next to her farm: “We're gonna see nothing but destruction. And I'm really sad about it.” 71% of Americans oppose data centers, yet politicians are approving them anyway because our government doesn’t work for us. It works for the owners of capital and until the people truly grasp this nothing will change. You cannot solve a problem unless you can first identify what the problem is, and the problem is the owners of capital have two parties that serve their interests and the people have zero!
