Kraken gives ChatGPT read access only. The model can reason over the history all it wants, yet the execution path stays with the human. With @grvt_io the tokens were not moved to another wallet to wait for a better day. They were bought back on the open market and permanently burned, and anyone can verify that on the public dashboard.
That is the difference I care about. Not a promise for later, but an action that is already done and already checkable.
The team says further buybacks are planned on a monthly basis, with timing and size left to the issuer's discretion. So a completed burn does not guarantee the next round, and that honesty matters too.
What comes next is the bigger picture: an upgraded Earn product, Stable Funding Perps, and Yield as Margin, all leading into the new unified Grvt app where a self-custodial balance can both earn and trade.
The feature I am watching closest is Yield as Margin. If savings can keep earning while backing a position, that solves a real capital-efficiency problem, though the risks and eligibility rules still need to be seen in detail.
So I am judging this the simple way, guys. Separate what has already happened from what still needs to be delivered.
