We had some mischief (of the place value variety) happen in our classroom! Students, I mean detectives, had to solve problems around the room in order to receive the Top Secret clues to finding out the guilty suspect. 🔍

These early chapter books are widely available and really sweet! Some great representation, strong female characters, environmentalism and DIY crafts. I’m wrapping these ones up as a birthday gift and buying a few more for my classroom library! #lyndsaysrecommendedreads

So I simply cannot wait any longer to show off our students’ Adopt-a-Shelves!!! Some are still in progress, but the ones who have created their mini book displays completely by their own design have knocked it out of the park! Photos of individual shelves in 🧵

I’ve always felt at home in our elementary school libraries. Library clerks work so hard to create accessible, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for all learners. This is where a love of books begins for many littles. @wrdsbLibraries #WRDSBlibraryClerksRock @cncwrdsb
