Let’s jump straight into what I believe is one of the most undervalued aspects of the human experience and completely underutilized in NFT brands in general: storytelling.
Human beings are shaped by the stories we create from our experiences and share with others. When a project lacks that, it feels hollow. There’s no emotional foundation to build long-term trust, connection, or loyalty on top of.
Very few projects truly explore the depth of worldbuilding and lore in a meaningful way, even though I’d argue it’s one of the most important drivers of longevity.
When a project does have strong storytelling, the entire experience feels different. There’s substance to connect with. Something immersive. Something memorable.
But it has to be authentic.
Not rushed. Not treated like an afterthought. The story has to reflect the core identity of the brand itself.
People in Web3 constantly reference brands like Disney and Pokémon, but those brands didn’t become cultural giants overnight. They built worlds and characters people emotionally connected with for decades.
Kids grew up with those stories. Now those same kids are adults spending entire paychecks to revisit those worlds because the emotional connection never left.
That’s the power of storytelling.
Which projects do you collect NFTs from that capture this?

We finally got the exciting details of the @Pocket_Dragons_ mint plan! Been looking forward to this mint for almost a full year now. Can’t wait to get my hands on some dragons!
This is insane.
Quest Diagnostics just got hacked.
They run lab tests for 1 in 3 Americans EVERY YEAR. Half the doctors and hospitals in the country use them.
Your blood work. Your test results. Your medical history. EVERYTHING just got leaked…
NOTHING is safe anymore.
This is just the beginning.

🚨AI is accessing your bank... Instructions to Revoke Now Below!!🚨
We're seeing headlines about AI agents accessing bank accounts and taking actions users never intended...
But there's one VERY important detail getting overlooked...
How did the AI get access in the first place? 👀
Users are connecting their accounts and granting permissions without fully understanding what they're allowing...
Whether you're using Muse, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, or another AI agent, giving an app access to your financial information is a SECURITY decision.
And simply telling an AI what it can or cannot do isn't the same as enforcing permissions. Which most user's never implemented guardrails, therefore it technically can do what it wants..
🔐Here's what you should do TODAY:
1️⃣ Check which third-party apps have access to your bank accounts.
2️⃣ Revoke access for apps you don't recognize or no longer need.
3️⃣ Review what permissions each app has. Can it only read balances, or can it initiate transactions?
4️⃣ Check your AI apps and agents for connected financial accounts.
5️⃣ Review recent transactions, active sessions, and trusted devices.
Don't assume disconnecting an app automatically revokes every permission or deletes previously shared data.
Below are instructions for checking connected apps at Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Morgan Stanley ⤵️
JPMorgan Chase
Chase website (chase.com):
1.) Log in and open the Security & Privacy tab.
2.) Under Linked Apps & Websites, find the app. It’s usually listed as “[App] via Plaid” or similar.
3.) Click Edit Sharing to choose which accounts it can see, or remove the app entirely. Edits are saved by clicking “I Agree.”
Chase only lets you change these permissions on its own website. Deleting the connection inside the app doesn’t remove the access on Chase’s side.
Chase Mobile app:
1.) Chase started rolling out a Data Security Center in the app in late September 2026. It lets you see connected apps, change permissions, shorten how long access lasts, choose which accounts are linked, or unlink an app. Because the rollout is phased, you may not have it yet. If you don’t, use the website.
J.P. Morgan wealth / private bank accounts:
1.) In the J.P. Morgan Mobile app, go to Settings, then Security center, then “Linked apps and websites.” On J.P. Morgan Online, go to Security & privacy to reach the Security Center.
Bank of America
1.) Log in to Online Banking or the mobile app.
2.) Open the Security Center.
3.) Select Third Party Site Access. This page shows who has access to your information and lets you revoke it at any time.
Revoke anything you don’t recognize or no longer use.
If an app you know you connected isn’t on the list, it isn’t using Bank of America’s secure connection method yet. For those apps, you can try removing access from inside the app, but the bank says the safest fix is to change your Bank of America password.
Bank of America connections also expire on their own. Consent lapses 365 days after you last gave it, or after 180 days if the third party hasn’t accessed your data.
Wells Fargo
1.) Log in to Wells Fargo Online or the mobile app.
2.) Open Control Tower.
3.) Find the third-party or data-sharing section. There you can turn an app’s access to your account information off or back on, and choose which accounts it can see.
I couldn’t find an official Wells Fargo page with the exact menu names, so the labels inside Control Tower may differ a little. If you can’t find the section, call Wells Fargo. Also check Account Access Manager for people you’ve added. That feature lets you give someone view-only access and edit or cancel a guest user’s access at any time.
Morgan Stanley (Morgan Stanley Online)
Morgan Stanley has two separate settings to check.
App and aggregator data sharing:
1.) Log in, go to the Services tab, then Security Center.
2.) Click Edit next to Third party data sharing. Partner guides describe setting it to Yes to allow sharing, so set it to No and click Update to turn sharing off.
People or services you added as third-party users (such as an accountant):
1.) Go to Services, then Security Center, then Third Party Management, and click Edit.
2.) Click Delete next to the user, then confirm Delete in the pop-up.
The Total Wealth View / “Add External Accounts” feature works in the opposite direction: Morgan Stanley pulling in data from your other banks. To stop that, remove the external account there, and also revoke Morgan Stanley’s access in the other bank’s linked-apps list.
After revoking, at every bank
1.) Change your password if you ever typed it into the app or agent. Turning on two-factor authentication also helps.
2.) Review trusted devices and active sessions in each bank’s security settings, and remove any you don’t recognize.
3.) Delete the bank connection inside the app or agent itself. Revoking at the bank stops new data from flowing, but you may need to contact the third party about data it already collected.
4.) Check recent transactions. If an agent had money-movement access, look for payees, transfers, or bill-pay entries you didn’t set up. Call the bank’s fraud line if anything looks wrong.

I have to say Bored Apes are fuggin strong. I don't use language like that for most projects but I only own 3 packs of Mudwater and have had a ton of @BoredApeYC followers from both the main apes and mutant apes. I am beyond impressed and it makes me want in more and more. Looking for the right mutant...and entry. I need an ape, the community is just built different.

Security called me at 6:12 AM today.
"Patch every PHP server immediately."
I asked what happened.
"Two critical vulnerabilities. Remote code execution. No authentication required."
Cool.
How many PHP servers do we have?
According to inventory: 12
According to reality:
Nobody knows.
We found one running WordPress.
Three running old internal tools.
One under someone's desk.
Two inside vendor appliances.
A forgotten employee directory from 2016.
And a server named:
PHP-OLD-DO-NOT-TOUCH
Naturally, that one runs payroll exports.
Then we found a PHP 5.6 box.
I asked who owned it.
The documentation said:
BRIAN.
Brian left in 2019.
We called Brian.
He said:
"Oh wow, that's still running?"
Excellent.
By 8 AM, leadership joined the incident call.
CEO:
"Can hackers actually get in?"
Security:
"Potentially yes."
CEO:
"Without a password?"
Security:
"Yes."
CEO:
"Then why do WE need passwords?"
Not the lesson.
Finance asked if we could wait until the weekend to patch because downtime affects revenue.
Security explained that the alternative was letting strangers execute code on our servers.
Finance asked for a cost comparison.
At 9:17, someone suggested temporarily taking the vulnerable websites offline.
Marketing refused.
"Our campaign is live."
So for the next hour, the company officially decided maintaining a landing page for 20% off webinar registration was more important than preventing remote server takeover.
We finally patched everything we could find.
Then our scanner discovered another PHP server.
Hostname:
TEMP-PHP-2014
Uptime:
4,512 days.
Nobody knows what it does.
Nobody owns it.
Nobody can shut it down.
But every time we block network access, the warehouse stops printing shipping labels.
Security has classified it as critical infrastructure.
It is running PHP 5.4.
The vulnerability has existed longer than half our employees.
The emergency patch took four hours.
Finding out what PHP actually runs took eleven.
The internet isn't held together with code.
It's held together with servers everyone is afraid to turn off.

Railway is the one real, urgent item. On 21 Oct, Railway confirmed an intruder may have read and decrypted customers' stored settings, which usually include passwords and access keys. If you host anything there, change every key stored in Railway now, starting with AI service keys like OpenAI or Anthropic (Railway disclosure).
Fact-check
• HP, version 39.10: exaggerated. No advisory matches that version. The real one is HP Support Assistant before 9.55.10.0 (CVE-2026-19915), rated high, with no attacks seen.
• JavaScript and Java: real for JavaScript. A worm got into a JavaScript code package on 8 Oct and steals keys (advisory). This only matters if you or your developers install code packages. The Java claim is unverified.
• Signal: false for Signal itself. The real breach was TeleMessage's copy of Signal, not Signal. Just keep Signal updated.
• WordPress: real for some plugins, not WordPress itself. Bricksforge and Ninja Forms are under active attack. Update your plugins if you run a WordPress site.
• AI models and AI tools: real. The Railway attack targets AI keys, and there are reported attacks on AI tool connectors. Change your AI keys and don't plug in tools you don't know.
• Indian companies: exaggerated. In August, TCS, HCLTech and Hexaware were hit by claims of leaked employee data, which TCS says is over four years old. TCS says no customer data was affected (Reuters).
change your Railway keys if you use Railway, check that two-step login is on for Gmail and GitHub, and update Signal.
redeploy and reconnect your apps on Railway once it's back up, then update your WordPress plugins and HP Support Assistant.
they’re calling it “Black October” and i don’t think people realize how serious this is
in the last 48 hours there have been over 27 major cybersecurity incidents. not in a month. not in a week. in 48 hours
any ONE of these would normally be the biggest story of the year
PHP: critical vulnerability in the software running 80% of the web. severity 9.2 out of 10
Node.js: high-severity flaw letting attackers take over servers remotely. affects versions 22, 24, and 26
Java: also compromised. three of the most used programming languages on earth hit at the same time
GitLab: a perfect 10 out of 10 severity hole in every version since 2014
Railway: hosting platform compromised. API keys for OpenAI, Claude, Stripe potentially exposed
Signal: a bug that could leave your mic and camera on after you hang up
WordPress: hackers stole a plugin maker’s keys and planted backdoors on websites
LiteLLM: an AI tool downloaded 3.4 million times a day was poisoned with a password stealer
and that’s not even half the list
thousands of AI agent swarms are reportedly scanning and attacking vulnerable servers right now. automated. around the clock
security researchers are saying this might be the early stages of a global cyber incident that nobody fully understands yet
if you run a website, use cloud services, store API keys on hosting platforms, or use any software built on PHP, Node.js, or Java you are potentially affected
update everything. rotate your API keys. change your passwords on critical services. enable 2FA everywhere you haven’t already
this is not a normal week on the internet. this is something different

This is the most serious 48 hours in cybersecurity history.
"Black October" they're calling it
It seems every *hour* there's a new incident, that in a typical year, would be one of the biggest incidents of the *entire year*
SUMMARY OF THE LAST 48 HOURS:
YEAR-LEVEL INCIDENTS (In a typical year, these would be among the biggest incidents of the year):

If you have qualified for @themutualfun mint with the pass make sure you do this ASAP today. I just moved enough ETH today to make this happen. Not going to miss this potential to build mutual wealth! 48 hour countdown is in full effect!
I have to shoutout a few projects that are amazing places to be right now!
@re_generates is building one of the strongest communities in the space. They are a collective of realistic positivity on the TL and both @jed_131 and @Lysss302 have been running a tight-nit community spaces for such a long time now.
@FugzOfficial the community is literally electric and always delivering on fun and chaotic experiences and filled with so many legends! Things are being built that have me excited for it's future!
@kabuxyz just launched one of the greatest hub experiences I've ever been a part of and is designed for everyone not just holders of the project. Solid world building and can't wait to see what they do with their new site.
@WagyuBrands is hyper cute art and building a strong core community of people who are genuinely lovers of cuteness and it's led by one of my most favorite people in the space @Yummy_TheArtist. Honestly there is serious collectible chasing happening inside and it's got me bullish on cute.
@quirkiesnft if you aren't a part of this you are missing out on one of the strongest based communities to ever exist in Web3. It was my second mint ever in PFP NFTs and it's still going. Being a part of this community has opened so many doors over the years and @RealPapii is such a good dude how can you not want to be in!
Mints that are upcoming I think everyone should be watching:
1. @themutualfun is happening literally 2 days from now and I feel it has the strongest gamification of financial markets we've seen since the initial Stonkbrokers launch which I am also bullish on. KingPickle is also innovated other things like whitelist participation from both people trying to get in and community decision on who they want to let in. Very bullish on this and hoping my chair is a cozy spot in this project. Yes I got my pass to mint as well!
2. @unvault with recent shutdowns in the marketplace business competition for the leading exchange is great at the very least to push innovation and NFTs back into the right direction giving back royalties to projects so they have something to build with. Also Bugz giving you mint access to future projects should be fun!
3. @Pocket_Dragons_ gamification and digital collectibles done differently. Fully gamification of collectibles and a reason to hold more than one of a NFT. Power up your dragon and care for it on it's journey of becoming the most powerful little bundle of cuteness in dragon form the TL has seen. @djsamwithers is incredible and the team formed around Pocket Dragons is building around quality and cuteness need I say more?
Mints that are ongoing you should be already in on:
@proofofland is RWA done with land. Nothing else needs to be said here. Own a stake in something tangible that you can see and visit if you desired to do so. Also love the leader of the project he is a real gem!
I am sure I am missing a few others that I have the ability to mint but these are on the front of my mind as chases. DYOR but from my side you should know lately I've been focusing my attention rather than catching every hyped mint into projects that are delivering something different and fun and have plans that feel attainable past the initial mint and hype.
gn
Signing out for the night see you all tomorrow! Make sure you do your @kabuxyz daily activities!
What this means is that @Kingpickle is making sure your 🪑 is really deserved! Don’t mess up! Also @themutualfun about to hit 3 days to go!
I have to say that while I personally avoided @Persona_Journey because it never really was a part of the artistic style I normally go for or even the anime design I love I genuinely think this sucks for the space. We have had a sequence of boat rocking events over the last couple weeks and Persona is another event that I feel for the holders of this project.
But also lets be honest here this isn't the first and it wont be the last of project that has to face this or similar issues. The reality is that very few projects will make it to escape velocity of CT TL and hit mainstream status.
Some projects just overextend too quickly rather than building for their core audience which has people fade or leave them. Focusing on your core first I think should be every projects priority. That doesn't mean monetary airdrops. That means building content that your base loves to constantly engage with. And with this era of AI there really is no excuse as to why ideation and the building blocks step cant be leap frogged to get users to their content they love quicker.
Unagi, the company behind Persona Journey, Ultimate Champions and Records, has entered court-ordered liquidation in France.
All of the company's assets are now for sale, under the supervision of the court-appointed liquidator.
