All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.
While sometimes I appreciate cutscenes for being curated story telling mediums by developers.
In-game rendered cutscenes are just vastly superior 99% of the time. Halo Campaign Evolved missed that mark big time. 😅🤣 🍌

Sharing this more broadly. This week you're going to start seeing comms on official channels again. The focus will be providing info about Halo Fest, celebrating the community and 25 years of Halo, and relevant game info like @HaloSupport has been posting already.
We'll also provide a blog just reconfirming things we've announced and have in plan for Halo Fest. There's a huge amount of Halo fans who are looking forward to the event to attend or watch from home, and we're looking forward to providing a platform for the community to celebrate 25 years of Halo and each other.

This Orange Shirt Day we are returning the Brandon Indian Residential School cemetery grounds to the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation on behalf of many First Nations whose children are buried here.
This is one of the most well documented burial grounds at a residential school in Canada with not only church and historical records but also contemporaneous newspaper articles describing what happened to these children.
You can not deny history.

Thank you for always hearing me out and letting me push for more. Whether I was asking your team to make a pivot or fix one more bug before a release, you all trusted that it would be the right call. Collaborating with so many bright people across nearly every discipline was such a unique and rewarding part of this role.
It was also an honor to have your support while leading the Gameplay Team for the last two years of Halo Infinite. I was humbled - but not the least bit surprised - that so many of you rallied to ship impactful features and community-requested updates, which ultimately brought the game to a great place for our players.
Your talent and dedication never ceased to amaze, and it pushed me to do better every day. I will always be grateful for your partnership, mentorship, and friendship.
Although I’ll be moving on to different work, I’m excited for the future of Halo and I can’t wait to experience its next steps alongside all of you.

Rumours are that Activision’s new Halo team might reboot the franchise.
I’m divided on that considering Halo Studios started a soft Unreal engine reboot with Campaign Evolved.
Just like the MCU (Spider-Man) I don’t think we need to play through the origin story again. Thoughts?

True, but the implication of sequestering games (read: games) based on a video game developer (read: video game developer) makes it grossly easy to infer that as original intent, especially when the developers of the mainline games weren't any authority over teams like Ensemble or Creative Assembly who made the spinoff material.
It just sounds like you're backpedaling because you don't want to remake the image correctly.
This absolutely breaks my heart. Jeff “GrimBrother One” Easterling there are not enough words to describe how amazing you are as a steward of the Halo universe & as an amazing human being.
