🧵Growing up Wog in Australia
My mum migrated to Australia in 1972, I was 7 years old when we landed here from Egypt. At school I was called wog and made to feel like I didn’t belong, like I was stupid because I couldn’t speak English. It didn’t matter I spoke French, Italian, – at Sydney, New South Wales

Albo's so-called 'Digital Duty of Care' is really just about more censorship of ordinary Australians!
Please tell the Senate today that this is not on by making a submission!

Older people have been saying this for months. Labor's automation of aged care assessments has been a disaster, under-assessing need and priority, denying care and driving up waitlists.
It's past time to bin the whole thing and put humans back in charge of decision-making.

Coffee cups are getting attention.
What about the people sleeping on Macquarie Street, right under the NSW Government’s nose?
Reducing waste matters, but surely humans take priority?
Where’s the urgency for people with nowhere to call home?

THE ALBANESE LIE LIST. THE LIST THAT NEVER ENDS.
"$275 off your power bill." Electricity up 22.4% in a year once the rebates ran out.
"No intention of making any super changes." Said again on national TV. Two days later, a new super tax.
"My word is my bond." Stage 3 rewritten.
"For the 50th time." Negative gearing and capital gains changed in the next Budget.
A gambling report from a colleague who died of cancer. Australians losing $32 billion a year. Answered 1,049 days later, with no ad ban.
Robodebt hurt 433,000 Australians. The watchdog has never held a public hearing, and nobody is going to court.
A $411 million referendum, then a Makarrata Commission that was "not what we have proposed". AAP FactCheck: False.
Islamic State-linked returnees, kept quiet for four months. One now charged with terrorism offences.
1.2 million homes promised. 124,000 behind. 169,000 households waiting for public housing.
$10 billion for social housing. 1,432 homes after three years.
"No one will be removed without somewhere to go." 241,000 off the NDIS, most of them kids.
A record $860 million on consultants, and PwC back on the list.
Fuel supply "secure". Three days later, the legal minimum cut. Diesel now near $3.
"End the rorts." Then $559 million by invitation, 73.2% to Labor seats.
"No, we are not." Fifteen days later, Palestine recognised.
A royal commission would "delay action". Twenty-five days later, a royal commission.
"A two in front." Four rate rises, and about $470 a month more on the average new mortgage.
"I did not speak to the former Qantas CEO before a decision was made." The diary shows a meeting.
Interest on the national debt: $27 billion last year. About $51,000 a minute.
And the list goes on…
Cold Hard Facts. Corrected when wrong. No misinformation.
What's your thoughts…?

The Govt enters into $100B worth of contracts each year, all with confidentiality terms that prevent citizens from knowing if the contractor is performing well. If I win in the Full Federal Court next week, that’ll all change. #transparency #Snowy #auspol michaelwest.com.au/snowy-blo…

This 👇 Bureaucrats don’t want to be held accountable in/from Estimates. Behind closed doors is their preference & precisely how Robodebt ended up with a RC showing how bureaucrats cover up. And Katy & Gordon deciding a new APS Value of ‘stewardship’ would fix the rot! #auspol

The ATO has been doing this for years and destroying taxpayers including by fabricating evidence to raise debts that are irrecoverable at law. But they wont go after certain groups because several senior assistant, deputy and Commissioner of Taxation are former KPMG looking after many of this select groups
The ATO has stopped acting like a tax office and started acting like a debt-collection cartel. Raids, data-matching dragnets, forced monthly BAS, all aimed at small businesses already fighting to survive. Meanwhile the multinationals settle quietly. Who is this system actually protecting? #auspol

NAB made almost $7 billion in profit last year and still wants to axe 2,500 jobs.
To use buzzwords like ‘future fit’ to justify cutting 2,500 people is deeply disappointing and raises serious questions about whether its vision for the future is one powered by Australians or by AI and an offshore workforce.
Banks need to give their staff a genuine voice in this technological transformation instead of subjecting them to an AI dictatorship.
