Thank you Nigerians

Whatever you say about this brand, I believe you! They’re very rude and the only reason I even requested for a video was because of all the complaints and reviews I read about them online! Terrible business.
I usually don’t do this
But I bought this bag from NectarHQ in Nigeria a few years ago.
Within few days of getting the bag, the hand got torn, I tried reaching out to them to fix it, to no avail.
I said no problem and locked up.
I was at an airport in Canada few weeks ago and I saw a woman rocking the exact design of the bag. I reached out to her and she told me the bag was from Monos.
I went to their website and lo behold, it safe to say that NectarHQ in Nigeria is a rip off of Monos in Canada.
But that’s not the crazy part…I understand you can “steal like an artist”.
This is the really annoying part.
First the quality.
When I finally purchased the bag from Monos, the difference in leather is—and I’m not exaggerating—HEAVEN and HELL difference.
(I’ve attached photos and pictures)
Now it’s okay, to have shitty quality (can’t believe I said that) but what’s NOT…okay is having
1. A shitty quality
2. Absolute horrible customer service AND 3. YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ORIGINAL???
Yes. NectarHQ’s bag is/was more expensive than their Canadian counterpart.
Like make it make sense.
Anyways if you intend on purchasing from NectarHQ, this is my own experience. I’m not saying they’re a bad company. I’m just saying in light of new information I’m further pissed with my experience.

If you are looking to travel the world for work, conferences, competitions, summits, volunteering, workshops, education, and more across Pakistan, Nigeria, SA, UAE, Nepal, India, Ghana, the UK, the US, and beyond.
I spent hours during the weekend finding companies abroad that are actively hiring and funding and compiled them into one sheet.
Application links, eligibility criteria have been added, so all you have to do is review the sheet and apply.

Lipid panel
Kidney function !!!!
Colonoscopy (if at the age)

A lot of people will rather use money to buy material things than invest in their health . Go to a good lab and check
Terms of Endearment Across Social and Professional Settings
.
The recent Twitter debate highlighted how “dear” or “babe” can feel friendly in one setting but patronising and dismissive during professional disagreement/discussions, particularly when used by male colleagues towards female colleagues.
The differing perceptions reflects reduced awareness/understanding on this matter …
Research has linked endearment use with sexist attitudes in some settings and documented unequal professional forms of address.
Nigerian research explores culturally shaped forms of address, but how recipients interpret them across different settings remains underexplored.

As a result, I’m conducting an anonymised survey for women aged 18+ to explore these experiences. Analysis will examine patterns of perceived warmth, respect or dismissal and inform practical suggestions for better communication

Your perspective matters, whether these words feel friendly, uncomfortable or somewhere in between.

Ranking amala, fufu, pounded yam and eba so low is actually wild
If you're trying to lose weight, your main focus should be your soup and what goes into it.
Keep your swallow portion moderate.
Amala, fufu and eba are not the enemy. They provide nutrients, and properly processed, whole-fibre amala can be a good source of dietary fibre.
You need to understand portions, balance your meals and be consistent.

If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, have children or elderlies… please take this El Niño heat wave warnings seriously.
While the heat wave concerns everyone, it affects this group worse.
Heat strokes, kidney injury and preterm birth risk in pregnancy.
Here’s how to stay safe.
When you’ve led resuscitation during cardiac arrests involving women during pregnancy, labour or the postpartum period, on the labour ward or in theatre, then come, let’s talk. 🗣️
Until then, I’m stepping away from this conversation.
Medicine doesn’t always offer categorical yes-or-no answers.
So YES, pregnancy can be life-threatening and sometimes fatal/ a death sentence ; whilst others might experience uncomplicated pregnancies.
Both realities deserve acknowledgement.
Hopefully, we’ll reach a point where every woman can describe her experience without fear of being dismissed, and fellow women can empathise whether or not they’ve experienced something similar.
