Valve dev got back to me on this, turns out it was actually a recording error the entire time! I believe they mean the pitch here but it COULD mean the pitch AND the elongating of words was unintentional too I'M SO HAPPY. ILY VALVE

On second thought? No, I don’t think I like it, I’m happy Viscous got new lines, but it feels like they dumbified him, he speaks like a child instead of a curious tourist,, he’s too high pitched, too loud, it doesn’t feel like Viscous :c
