🥲 The “never-ending” world cruise has finally ended — thanks to soaring fuel prices
Many passengers sold their homes to live aboard Villa Vie Odyssey, which set off on a never-ending voyage around the world in 2024.
But now residents have been told to leave the ship: they are being disembarked in Cambodia, The Independent reports.
Global fuel prices have surged due to the US-Israeli war against Iran. According to the cruise operator, monthly fuel costs per cabin have risen from $1,800 to $8,000 in some parts of Asia.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 The bombers are ready. The ships are moving. And Gulf states have just been privately warned to brace for what comes after the midterms...
The U.S. has told regional allies to expect a “short, intense” military campaign against Iran.
Patriot systems are being rushed to Israel from Texas, troops have been pulled off vulnerable bases, and an additional carrier strike group is moving into position.
“We may do another little Epic Fury,” Trump said at a rally last week. “Or they’ll agree.”
The war is now 8 months old and has cost America at least $47 billion, with 60% of that spent on munitions.
Iran has weathered over 20,000 strikes and still holds hundreds to thousands of missiles.
It has spent the current lull rebuilding, restocking, and drawing up new retaliation plans targeting economic and civilian infrastructure across the Gulf.
Meanwhile, mediators are scrambling to revive talks. Iran is demanding tough concessions. The U.S. won’t budge on the nuclear question.
Trump hasn’t made his final call yet, but the window for a deal is closing fast...

💥🚂Ukraine’s 1st National Guard Corps “Azov” has struck over 100 Russian trains transporting supplies to the front, targeting locomotives, fuel tankers, and other railway equipment.
The strikes are disrupting Russian fuel deliveries and military logistics along key railway routes supplying the front.
War on Credit: Over 100 Trains Hit
The enemy is doing all it can to create the image of successfully capturing settlements, yet it cannot protect the key railway stations through which its fuel supply chain toward the front runs. Neither mobile fire groups nor electronic warfare systems can safeguard the occupying force’s logistics routes.
Thanks to your donations and the work of the Come Back Alive Foundation, which provided 440 Starlink Minis, fires from First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine have hit more than 100 trains that were moving logistics shipments for the enemy.
Locomotives, fuel tank cars, and other assets have been disabled. This makes it possible to disrupt the enemy’s supply at the front line and destroy its offensive potential.

Zelenskyy: Russia already has an army of around 2M. No country in Europe has an army ready for such a fight. I'm not talking about people, I'm talking about armies.
That is why Europe needs a strong Ukraine as part of NATO, on its eastern flank — Hudson Institute. 1/

" The Russians are beginning to understand that their army is not that strong, that their air defense systems are not that good, and that the Russian army is actually not capable of protecting the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory.
This is not at all the second army in the world, and not even the fourth. And the reckoning will come.”
“The understanding that there will be retribution comes to people when they personally begin to see and feel that the war is not somewhere in some part of the world, but on their own territory. Therefore, the turning point has already begun.”

In 1941, the U.S. battleship USS Arizona was sunk during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor after a catastrophic bomb hit its ammunition magazine, claiming the lives of 1,177 crew members.
At the time of its sinking, the ship had approximately 1.5 million gallons (about 5.7 million liters) of fuel in its tanks. Since that tragic day, the sunken wreck has been steadily releasing a small amount of oil into the waters of Oahu Bay, creating visible iridescent patches on the surface.
These constant iridescent sheens, popularly known as the “tears of the Arizona” or “tears of the ship,” are released at an estimated rate of between one and nine liters per day. Despite fears of a potential environmental disaster in the bay, environmental authorities and the U.S. National Park Service have determined that the current seepage rate does not pose a serious ecological threat. It is estimated that the remaining fuel trapped in the submerged compartments could continue to seep uninterrupted for several centuries.
The wreck of the USS Arizona, designated a National Monument, remains a sacred site and the military burial ground for more than a thousand sailors and Marines. Due to the site’s profound commemorative significance and the risk of destabilizing the hull’s structure and causing an unexpected massive spill, the U.S. Navy has chosen not to remove the remaining oil. Instead, the condition of the hull is continuously monitored through scientific studies and underwater sensors to ensure both the preservation of this historic monument and the protection of the surrounding marine ecosystem.
