I never feel like doing much on social media any more. I understand how it works, but don’t generally feel much like being part of it, unless something cool or important is happening. (Might change my mind, like.)

And I get why people do it. It’s part of the world now. I’m not against it. The power and influence of social media deserves massive respect - it has had huge and brilliant effects in many ways.

It feels a bit like it’s become more ‘here’s what I am doing’ rather than ‘here’s some things I’ve been thinking about’. I like it more when it’s about sharing ideas.

I never heard back from the Slipknots so instead I’m playing bass for @TheWildhearts this weekend. Southampton Saturday, Firevolt Fest in Stockport on Sunday and Reading on Monday. Ace times. (I’m just keeping Jon’s seat warm while he’s off being An Ant.) X

Get listening. I’ll be ‘mashing it up’ before you knows it. Been sniffing my dead crow all afternoon. And I’ve suggested we change ‘People Equals Shit’ to ‘Shite’.
Replying to @ChrisCatalyst
I might start listening to SlipKnot if this happens 😭

Here’s something I was well happy to receive just now. @MrAndyFox got a new tattoo done inspired by my first solo album ‘Life Is Often Brilliant’. Because - despite all the bullshit and the drama and the divide and the politics - it really can be, sometimes. Lots of love. X

Hey Slipknot! if you need a guy to do some two-finger keyboards and jump around a quite a lot - I’m your man. I’m quite happy wearing a mask and can probably learn how to ‘scratch’ as well - I am very ‘down with the kidz’. ‘😎’

All I wanna do is make music. Always with the intent and true belief that the best is yet to come. The stuff I’ve been writing lately is my absolute favourite of everything I’ve done, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it. Thank you for being nice to me. X

Recently got into Mr Mercedes on Netflix. It’s such a good mix of really great while also dead naff in a deliberately fun/slightly funny way. I think. Also the soundtrack is absolutely incredible, every song is mega. X
