The wait is over. One week of teasing, two decades of silence — and it all ends today. It started with a dream. Literally. A WWII veteran, serving in the South Pacific, dreamed of a beach. When he came home, he named a little music club on The Hill in Boulder after it. That room became one of the most important small music venues in America. The Eagles perfected Take It Easy there during a 1971 snowstorm. REO Speedwagon drove out of a show there into the storm that inspired "Ridin' the Storm Out." Miles Davis, Muddy Waters, and ZZ Top played that stage. Bonnie Raitt closed a set, grabbed a broom, and helped clean up. In 2003, the room went dark and the building tenant is CorePower Yoga. But if you walk by 1129 13th Street on The Hill in Boulder you will see the name of the music venue hanging on the building. Today, it comes back — as the new name of Boulder Roots Music Fest. Go to boulderrootsmusicfest.org to see the reveal: the name and the full story.

Here was that Sandlot-esque break in the MLB All-Star Game, featuring fireworks and Ray Charles' rendition of "America the Beautiful," as it looked on the Fox broadcast. ⚾️🎆

Colorado lost FIVE double-digit scorers from last year's tournament team. They just beat the defending National Champions in Maui. Tad Boyle is a hell of a coach.

If Shurmur worked with the offensive line, he clearly didn't make much of a difference. As the OC, the offense scored less points... I think the decision is easy on what to do with Shurmur. If he wants to take a good look at the offense next season, he should buy a ticket.

I think we can all agree that these past 5 weeks have been so much fun. Its imperative that we keep the fun going by ‘filling up the tank’. Got to keep building this thing up so we can strive towards being the best football program in the country.

“I’m tired of being a good loser. … It is really fun to be a good winner.” CU superfan Peggy is grateful to have Deion Sanders leading her beloved Buffaloes 🤝

Somebody give Peggy her theme music 🥹 #GoBuffs

Let's get it, Buffs.

The relationships @DeionSanders has with his players goes so far beyond the field. This story of what happened after the TCU game between Coach, @Tooswiftj5 and Jimmy’s father will give you chills. This is what it’s all about:

Whoa. This is heavy.

The 2019, 2020 & 2021 NBA Championship winning coaches have now all been fired. Tough gig.

Gilmore putted out faster on the first hole of the Waterbury Open than Patrick Cantlay hits his driver. Just watch

The last 5 times Jokić & Embiid have matched up in Denver: Jokić: 5 games played, 26ppg, 51%FG, 12 rpg, 7 apg Embiid: 1 game played, 19 points, 35%FG, 15 rebounds, 2 assists

But Jokic is the stat padder! Lol Giannis locking in the triple double at the buzzer…

Kendrick Perkins suggests that Nikola Jokic is winning the MVP this year because he is a white European. On National Television. This talking point started two weeks ago and is gotten worse and worse ever since.
