I’m praying for Samuel and his family. I hope this was a mix-up and that God keeps him safe while in detention. I hope that this gets resolved and he gets to be back with his family. I’m also praying that all the pro-ICE folks that are supporting him see that there are so many complexities with immigration that is not just black/white, how broken the system is and how they can get it wrong. I have friends that were deported and it was because the system failed them NOT because they sought to scam the country.
I hope these folks see that Samuel’s situation isn’t unique - there are many other immigrants in similar position and they have been brutalized and mistreated by ICE and screwed by the system.
That’s the very thing that we always tried to point out

At the end of the age, we will all face two choices:
Choice 1: Stand before God on our own merit, trusting in how well we lived our lives.
Choice 2: Stand before God on the merit of the Messiah, trusting in what He has done for us.
The first will never bring us into heaven.
The second is our only hope.

YAH’s mercy should never be mistaken for His approval.
Just because judgment isn't immediate doesn't mean sin is inconsequential.
His patience provides an opportunity for repentance, not permission to continue in sin.

I honestly don’t care what anyone says. You cannot claim to genuinely walk with YAH while consistently using vulgar language, belittling others, harboring hatred in your heart, and treating people disrespectfully.
Walking with YAH requires obedience, accountability, repentance, and transformation. You cannot continuously practice unrighteousness while professing righteousness.
Your character, conduct, and how you treat others should reflect the YAH you claim to serve.
Your fruit will reveal what your mouth attempts to conceal.

There’s a detail about today’s elementary school shooting in Oregon that deserves a lot more attention.
It wasn’t a police officer who stopped the 16-year-old gunman.
It was an armed civilian who saw him enter the school, pursued him inside, and shot him.
Four innocent people had already been killed, including three children. Two others were critically injured.
We will never know how many additional lives might have been lost.
But I think the courage it took for an ordinary citizen to run toward an armed school shooter, knowing they might not come back out, deserves enormous recognition.
I hope this person gets it.

YAH really protects us from dangers seen and unseen.
I’m always up this late but there was almost a full blown fire next door and thank YAH for some random neighbors taking trash out that saw the smoke and knocked on our door.
After 30 mins, the firefighters extinguished the almost fire and said at any moment the whole townhome could’ve went up in flames.
Crazy but yet grateful at the same time 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
