Proud to report that the 2nd Marauder is in the water and running under its own power out of our yard in Franklin, Louisiana. The team really stepped up across the board - this hull took 8% fewer labor hours than the 1st. That’ll continue to get better, every build needs to be more efficient than the last.
When we took over this shipyard it was shutting down and capacity was trending towards 0.
Today it's is active again + expanding. Fully ramped we’ll do 20 Marauders a year in Franklin.

Happy heavenly birthday, Dad! Not a day goes by that the family and I don’t miss you. Your sweet Julianna is growing up so fast. I am so proud of her. I know you would be too! You’ve never officially met Eleanor, but she took her first steps this past week. I often wonder what it would be like if you were still around to make these memories with us. But in a way, I feel a presence that you are. I am about to take some really big steps myself, similar to the ones we talked about before you went to see our Lord. I know you will be with me no matter where this life takes me. I haven’t forgotten what you taught me. Trust me, I won’t let you down! And don’t worry, Ridge and I are taking good care of Mom. She will tell you all about it when y’all meet again, especially the part about baby Marie. Love you!
