Had this in my bio for a while, but I'm honoured to have had the opportunity to design levels for this cool new game. Can't wait to show you what levels I've been cooking up for this game in the coming months!
- INCOMING MEMORANDUM FROM LUFA CORP. - - ARE YOU PREPARED FOR A GAMING REVOLUCHIN? - SUPER 3-D CRUNK BROS. will be released on July 16, 2020, on Steam and the iOS App Store.

if this is the start of media molecule becoming more like sony's other first-party studios, then i genuinely hope the studio gets shut down. i'd rather mm be dead than a zombie.
[Exclusive Report]: LittleBigPlanet, Dreams developer Media Molecule's is working on a new IP with open-world content. Our findings: mp1st.com/news/littlebigplan…

when mm reveals their new photorealistic open world game that plays the same as all of sony's other open world games, and all the capital-g Gamers start going "YOO IT'S PEAK, ABSOLUTE CINEMA", i'll be lamenting the enshittification of a studio i used to love.

Coining the term "sabafication" to refer to a game series losing its unique charm and identity, or otherwise alienating established fans in a misguided attempt to pander to mainstream audiences. LittleBigPlanet fans know what I'm talking about.

It's still kinda wild to me that we actually have an LBP build with a working Ice Hazard. This mythical thing that only existed in blurry pre-release videos. Something people have recreated countless times with varying degrees of accuracy. And now we have it, for real.

I can see why they scrapped it. Bugs aside, it seems really difficult to build fun levels around, at least in this form; there's a lot of things about its design that I'd have done differently. But I can't lie, I would've loved messing around with this hazard back in the day.

I wouldn't take as much issue with Sony's studios throwing out their established franchises every generation if their newer games were actually good and not soulless, derivative, overproduced, creatively bankrupt junk.
Ghost of Yōtei co-director, Nate Fox, says that only 10% of Sucker Punch Productions would be really excited to develop a new Sly Cooper game. "It’s been a long time since Sly Cooper’s come out" Source: @MinnMaxShow

I adore the original backstory they came up with for LittleBigPlanet back in 2007. It perfectly captures the appeal of this innovative, quirky new IP. You can see elements of this in the final game's intro FMV, but something about this write-up really does it for me.

Thinking about how the closest thing Minecraft has to an official Plants vs. Zombies collab is a painting in the LBP Mash-up Pack, which is based on the Sunflower costume from LBP3's PvZ pack. IDK if they got permission from EA to use it, but that's really funny to me.

Can't wait for the revisionist history that's going to take place when the PS6 generation somehow ends up being worse than what we're going through now.

I recognise the irony in saying this as a PS3 defender — a console that's often cited as the "dark age" of PlayStation. But honestly that generation at its worst is still better, or at the very least more interesting to talk about than most of what they've done in recent years.

LittleBigPlanet PSP's costumes are really funny to me because you've got a lot of standard clothing items, some outfits that fit the themes they were created for. And then you have Realistic Koala Suit and a cow head.

The state of Ultimate Sackboy (and the effect it seemed to have on the franchise at large) is depressing but also entirely unsurprising.
