I needed something quick and lighthearted for this week’s #MovieChallenge and The Monster Squad fitted the bill! It’s always nice to find a slice of 80s cheese you’ve not seen before and this was a daft bit of fun. Glad I’ve finally seen it!

TCM aired a nice documentary on Vincent Price last night, and while that doesn't really fit the challenge, they had a Vincent Price marathon afterwards that included The Bat, which is a murder mystery. Price adds his usual touch of class while Agnes Moorhead joins in on the fun

#MovieChallenge Week 44. The Mummy (1932). Boris Karloff plays Imhotep an Egyptian high priest who was buried alive as a mummy for sacrilege. Surprising that this was not the traditional Universal monster movie. Karloff only has one scene as the “Mummy.” Supernatural not horror.

For this week’s #MovieChallenge I watched After Hours, a somewhat forgotten Scorcese dark comedy. It was definitely dark but not so much of a comedy, just a lot of weird unfunny situations and a rather annoying lead character!
