Agree! Ignorance is bliss. Marketers and PR can be incredibly lazy.
Replying to @sarahtacp
I think there is some collusion on the part of PR agencies who see an easy win in terms of metrics and their client remains blissfully ignorant
This crap is like a plague in #ontario with #influencers — a lot of #ontariowine charlatans. #vqa Marketers eat it up. Consumers and wine lovers suffer. And real journalists.
Mediadoping: how some social media influencers aren't playing fair, the tools that are used, and three reasons why we shouldn't just ignore it wineanorak.com/2021/04/04/me…
Darned excited to get the news on #chianticlassico with @mgodello today... and also these little nuggets! @chianticlassico #wineisthebest

Important! Urgent! Call for a COVID-19 recovery plan that stops sprawl, grows the Greenbelt, and protects natural spaces, farmland and freshwater sources. protected-places.good.do/ed/…

I don’t mind all the tits and ass, I just wish the wine writing was credible. Not you, I mean the influencers! 😀
One of the problems is that many don’t have real engagement- it’s all from comment pods/engagement groups. This is fraudulent
I would like to thank all the wine influencers who refrained from posting a sparkling wine sabering how-to video this New Year’s Eve. And the ones that did can fuck right off. 🤡 #eyeroll #wineinfluencer #wineexpert

Day 2 waiting for Bell to call after booking a call-back to enquire about business services. I booked every time slot for 2 days. Nada. #bellmobility #bellisajoke #whowantsmybusiness
Also, the new iCal interface is idiotic. I’ve given up trying to adjust the time on an event. #helloandroid
Hey @Apple Next time, tell me beforehand that the update you force me to do will take an hour and then my phone won’t work. Where do I send my invoice for $500 in lost time? How about I bill you $1.50 a month till one of us is dead? #helloandroid #dingus

"I don't get it. What was in it for them?" probably explains Donald Trump better than anything else he's ever said.
On Memorial Day 2017, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery with John Kelly, then homeland security secretary. Standing by the grave of Robert Kelly — who died in Afghanistan at age 29 — Trump turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”
