We are pleased to share a new article published in Transactions in Urban Data, Science, and Technology:
Exploring the influence of individual daily activity patterns on activity-space segregation
doi.org/10.1177/275412312311…
Tomorrow 13:30 London time. @Kayvan_Karimi will introduce spatial interventions augmented by Space Syntax @SpaceSyntaxNet @Space_Syntax @bartlettSDAC and kickoff this year’s urban science and planning seminars at CUSP Tongji. Join us via Zoom, Bilibili and Wupen live.
One of our latest work is recently released: mapping the multi-occupation segregation in and through the tube network. URL:journals.sagepub.com/doi/ful…

My latest paper is out in JTRG: Segregation through space - a scope from the flow-based spatial interaction model. A work from our previous RESOLUTION project. A time-space, between-domains perspective on segregation. Full-text: authors.elsevier.com/a/1YeVv… – at Shanghai, People's Republic of China
Our latest paper about measuring PCI (Physical Co-presence Intensity), syntactic centralities of the behavioral configuration over time with trajectory data, is out in Plos One. A small piece of work conducted with @Kayvan_Karimi and @urban_stevie. goo.gl/nai5zG

"Approximating CNNs with Bag-of-local-Features models works surprisingly well on ImageNet" openreview.net/forum?id=SkfM… cool/fun paper. A "bag of words" of nets on tiny 17x17 patches suffice to reach AlexNet-level performance on ImageNet. A lot of the information is very local.
