I paid $684 for my first 30-day supply of insulin. Some pay $1000+ a month. Many die without it.
Today I introduced legislation to cap the price of insulin at $50 a month. #txlege

Cops shot and killed a 17-year-old in a school bathroom and justified it by saying he shot a cop. They've now admitted the cop accidentally shot himself and suddenly no one is willing to say exactly what happened.

The prosecutor did not “make an error.” He lied.
He lied about the police killing a child.
Ending this isn’t just about consequences for who pulls the trigger. It’s about admitting to and confronting an entire system that exists to protect, defend, and cover up state violence.
UPDATE: Chicago has released bodycam video of the police killing of 13-year-old #AdamToledo:
▪️ The video shows Adam had his hands up when police opened fire, killing him.
