All of these kids are perfectly capable of riding a bike to school/clubs/outings IF they had the safe space to do so. Instead, most of them are probably ferried around short distances which does nothing for their independence, empowerment, health but adds to congestion/pollution
Kids empowered - discovering the geography of the city. They all felt so strong and proud of themselves. A brilliant ride - real joy. Astonishing what they can do when given protected space. #ActiveTravelForKids

Excellent day @CJSDorset & Infants celebrating our ‘clean air day’. Thanks to the many children (and parents) who actively travelled to school. A real highlight of the day was the smoothie bike.. reminding us we can power machines (and ourselves) without polluting our air.
