BGE is trying to raise your electric bill again.
Last Night, I testified before the Public Service Commission, urging them to reject BGE’s latest rate-increase proposal. The PSC is the state agency that regulates BGE, and it is holding hearings for BGE customers to testify about how these outrageous bills are affecting them.

As the leaves start filling your lawn, remember that you don't have to send them away. If you can't leave them lay where they fall, could you consider moving them to a corner of your yard to break down naturally while providing habitat for our smallest neighbors?

As Baltimore County approves 10 more years of burning its trash in Baltimore City, a question: will @MayorBMScott keep his promise that the city's BRESCO contract (expiring in 2031) will be its last? tinyurl.com/2vt3eb25 Advocates say it's looking very iffy.

ALT Brandon Scott's promise in 2020 after supporting giving the BRESCO incinerator another 10-year contract to burn Baltimore's trash: “Under my administration,” he told The Brew, “we’re going to work to not burn as much at the incinerator as possible. And I will work my butt off to make sure that this is the last time we ever give them a new contract.”
Next Thursday is a critical opportunity to speak out against air pollution from the BRESCO trash incinerator: the public hearing on its application to renew its air pollution permit.
