I spend a lot of time talking about ClickHouse Managed Postgres. But our customers running their businesses on it tell the story much better than I can. 🙏 ❤️ Here are 10 production customers, what they’re building, and why they chose our Managed Postgres. 🧵 The list includes fast-growing AI companies to large enterprises, migrating hundreds of GB to multi-TB databases from Aurora, RDS, Neon and more. @ClickHouseDB

WalShadow is probably one of the most ambitious projects we’ve taken on. When we decided to build this six months ago, we genuinely weren’t sure how it would pan out. We were going directly after Postgres’s physical write-ahead log, an area backed by decades of deep engineering expertise. Now, seeing the early results with customers, especially Postgres → ClickHouse replication latency in the hundreds of milliseconds, it feels totally worth it. It opened up a new world tousers, that wasn’t possible before. This wouldn’t have been possible without the team’s deep expertise in Postgres replication, the operational lessons we’ve learned onboarding thousands of customers to Postgres CDC, and our experience deep in the Postgres replication and backups, creating and contributing to WAL-G and WAL-RUS I’m really excited for more customers to try it out. And perhaps the most exciting part: this brings ClickHouse much closer to becoming a physical analytics standby for Postgres. 🚀 github.com/ClickHouse/walsha… @ClickHouseDB

Big week for Postgres at @ClickHouseDB! 🚀 We shipped 3 major launches, all centered around the vision of providing a one integrated stack of Postgres and ClickHouse for developers: WalShadow - Postgres to ClickHouse replication directly from the physical WAL, with sub-second latency. clickhouse.com/blog/introduc… ClickHouse Managed Postgres on GCP - one of our most requested items, with an already overwhelming waitlist! clickhouse.com/blog/postgres… chDB Postgres extension - fast object storage imports and exports directly using COPY. clickhouse.com/blog/introduc… Many months of hard work went into these launches. Huge kudos to the team! 2 of the 3, WalShadow and the chDB Postgres extension, are fully open source. github.com/ClickHouse/walsha… github.com/ClickHouse/pg_chd… Lots more coming. Excited for everyone to try what we’re building for Postgres at ClickHouse! 🐘

This is the first blog post I have written for coding agents in mind - simply ask your coding agent to read and action the blog post, and soon you will be converting text to vectors with the MCP toolbox ClickHouse integration 🚀 clickhouse.com/blog/mcp-tool…

If you’re in the Vancouver area on August 25th, don’t miss our meetup! Very excited for Sawyer Bateman to share the story of how ShipSidekick, one of the fastest-growing logistics companies in the US, migrated its multi-TB Postgres database on Neon to ClickHouse Managed Postgres. It’s a very interesting story, they completed the entire migration in just a few days, and I’m excited for them to share their experience and learnings since then. Thank you, Sawyer, for all the feedback throughout the migration. Very happy and grateful that @ClickHouseDB is part of ShipSidekick’s journey! Here is the link luma.com/jr8tc94e shipsidekick.com

.It was a great talk by @danwintermeyer and Julian on their comprehensive evaluation of various Postgres services and how they landed on ClickHouse Managed Postgres. Very happy to be a part of @getclera journey and glad we are able to contribute. 🙏 ❤️ Stay tuned for the recording! @getclera @_sebastianscott @ClickHouseDB
We have a @ClickHouseDB meetup tomorrow in San Francisco! We’ll have some amazing talks, including one from @getclera, one of the fastest-growing AI-native recruiting companies, which migrated its 500GB+ Postgres database to ClickHouse Managed Postgres. It’s going to be a really interesting talk covering their pain points, a deep dive into their evaluation and migration process, and the results they’re seeing now. This is one of the strongest technical teams I’ve worked with. The thoroughness of their evaluation was amazing, and I’m really looking forward to hearing them share their story! Thank you again, @danwintermeyer and Julian Bouchard for speaking at the event and all feedback during the onboarding! I'm sharing the invite for you to join the waitlist, I see that there close to 600 signups already 🤯. We'll try our level best to accommodate you, based on space availability! 🙌 luma.com/clickh-z578
