Today, Climate Whistleblowers (CW) and a consortium of European media partners publish Unrestricted, a cross-border investigation spanning 7 European countries.
Unrestricted examines how KTM, the motorcycle giant, facilitates the widespread derestriction of an entire line of its motorcycles before they reach customers, increasing emissions and noise pollution.
Unrestricted, ten years after Dieselgate, raises questions about enforcement, accountability, and compliance to environmental regulations in the transport sector.

In a letter to McFerran, @SenWarren said:
“Your decision to work for an Evraz subsidiary in the wake of Russia’s initial invasion of Ukraine and after its launching a full-scale war raises significant questions about your judgment and your commitment to U.S. national security.”
McFerran donated almost $1m to the Trump 47 Committee last year. He was appointed Exim's acting chief banking officer in March.
He has said the “administration is committed to returning America to its place as the energy super power”
Exim has been one of the agencies pushing forward Trump’s plans for “American energy dominance” overseas.
It recently greenlit a $4.7bn loan – the largest in its 91-year history – to oil major TotalEnergies for a controversial gas drilling project in Mozambique.

Australia is not the only election LaCivita claims to be working on - he's also advising the right in Albania.
As he put it, that's “one place where American meddling in their elections is encouraged.
Everywhere else, not so much’’.

In a series of meetings with our undercover reporters, LaCivita revealed his global MAGA playbook.
Put the victims of migrant crime on TV.
Pick fights with institutions.
And create coalitions with far-right political parties.

Koch Industries accounted for 1-3% of gross revenue of an arm of McKinsey that helps with company restructurings. Critics say the wealth generated by the company has been used to thwart action on climate change for decades.

ALT "It's turning huge profits at the expense of the climate and the energy transition, thanks to its lucrative contracts with many of the world's biggest climate criminals, including BP, Shell and Koch Industries. It's time to start holding McKinsey to account" – Pascoe Sabido, researcher at Corporate Europe Observatory
You can now search hundreds of pages of court documents filed by McKinsey on our website. It also includes data the firm shared in filings about particularly lucrative clients, such as Koch Industries, Shell, BP and Aramco
