Devant les journalistes européens, à Strasbourg, j’ai associé leur travail sur les faits à une discipline : l’histoire.
Dans un espace informationnel où des algorithmes poussent l’émotion, rarement avec de bonnes intentions, l’histoire donne à nos jeunes de quoi comprendre le monde, trier le vrai du faux et garder leur libre arbitre.
C’est un armement démocratique. Il faut l’enseigner avec la même exigence que les mathématiques, la lecture et l’écriture.

This post is full of hypocrisy. The EU sanctioned several journalists in the last years, without charge, without a hearing, without legal proceedings, f.e. Jacques Baud or Hüseyin Doğru.
