Millions of Americans could benefit from PrEP, a medication that can reduce the risk of HIV by about 99% when taken as prescribed — yet fewer than 700,000 are taking it.
At #CGI2026 last month, @ChelseaClinton Clinton spoke with @Grindr CEO George Arison about closing this gap — and just last week, Grindr announced plans to acquire Freddie, a telehealth provider, in a move that could help millions of users access PrEP, HIV testing, and prevention care directly through the app.
Expanding access to HIV prevention starts with reaching more people with the tools and care they need.
