The hardest part of AI at home wasn't the AI. It was getting Control4, SmartHQ, Somfy and the HVAC to talk to each other. Integrations are the real moat.

This is how I see all my work now. The Handrail Mall. 14 organizations. 40 projects. Each one has its own AI agents at work. In the middle: shared services every project uses. Social media, marketing, security, deployments, DR. One building. Lights always on.

We built our own social media tool with AI agents. Calendar, approvals, threads, native metrics, X + LinkedIn publishing. Exactly the way we work. Building your own SaaS is now easier than configuring someone else's.

We’ll give an intern we just met access to company systems, then demand an AI prove it will never make a mistake before giving it the same permissions. How much of our trust in humans is earned, and how much comes from simply being human?

Your personal data is some of the most valuable stuff a company will ever hold. They collect it, store it and profit from it. Protecting it ranks somewhere below the quarterly numbers. I work in security, so here's my rant.

Plenty of companies buy cyber insurance for ransomware. It pays to get their systems back up. Notice what it protects: their systems. Your data is already gone.

Security keeps losing to the bottom line. Until losing our data costs them more than protecting it, it stays our problem, not theirs.

After using @BestBuy’s AI over the phone, I’m convinced their team has missed every frontier lab’s Dev Day.

Sunday thought: the best AI setups I've seen aren't one giant assistant. They're small, focused tools connected through MCP, each doing one job well.

AI: trick or treat? 🎃 Trick: a chatbot slapped on your website. Treat: software built around how your business actually runs. We only hand out treats.

What is it worth to know exactly how someone got into your network? Binance estimates a $6.3B hit from its hack. And because they had telemetry on their machines and network, they can actually trace how it happened. Could you? 🧵

Without the full chain of attack you're guessing: what to fix, what to report, what to rebuild. Guess wrong and they walk back in through the door you didn't close.

And the worst part isn't the cleanup. It's going to bed at night wondering if they're still in your network. So, what's it worth to you to know?
Every morning an agent on my home dashboard chooses what I wear and shows me a render of it. Then I walk to the closet and fetch it all like an intern. So I'm building the next piece now. When home robots arrive, I tap Outfit 1 tonight and wake up to it laid out.

New game studio, smaller headcount. One Grok Bot sketches levels, one writes gameplay code, one plays every build until something breaks, and one ships it through Handrail. My job: decide what's fun. #gamedev
