Asmongold leads <Olympus> into Orgrimmar, the raid falls apart and stream snipers camp his corpse, so he tells them "start jumping if you're ready to come kill me"💀 Every single one of them jumps. He takes the res anyway and dies on the spot 😭 PvE ruleset on release ?

🚨 BREAKING UPDATE: Blizzard says the Oct 26 racial notes were missing changes that were intended to be listed. Orcs finally get some good news. • Orc: Blood Fury cooldown cut to 2 min (was 3 min), back to its Classic value • Undead: Touch of the Grave internal cooldown cut to 15 s (was 25 s) • Skyborne: Attuned and Charged persist through death, but are removed when you enter a raid Eight days to launch.
🚨 BREAKING: Blizzard just made its final racial pass before WoW Forever, and the direction is clear: racial identity over perfect balance. • Orc: Command is back (+5% Warlock and Hunter pet damage), Savage removed • Dwarf: Earth Fury out, Artisan's Precision in (+1% hit) • Human: Human Spirit back to +10% Spirit, Ruthless crit cut to 1% • Tauren: Plainsrunning now stacks up to 60% speed, but no longer boosts mounts • Skyborne: haste down to 2%, plus new 1h "Attuned" and "Charged" buffs from Ley Lines and Convergences Weapon specializations stay gone, so no race gets locked into a "required" weapon for raid loot. Nine days to launch.

Classic → Forever, day 1: Warrior ⚔️ Fury got rebuilt for leveling, and the rage feels completely different. • Whirlwind hits with both weapons, no talent needed (Classic was main hand only) • Basic-attack crits give 100% more Rage • Flurry now sits behind Death Wish instead of Enrage • Berserker Rage comes at level 30 instead of 32 • New talent Gore Drinker: Enrage, Berserker Rage, Bloodrage, Death Wish and Bloodthirst make your next 3 hits heal up to 1% HP each • Improved Cleave and Toughness are gone Dual-wield Whirlwind alone makes leveling Fury sound a lot less painful.

Orc melee got nerfed twice in ten days, and Humans kept the crit Orcs just lost. On Oct 16 Blizzard swapped Axe Specialization for Savage, a flat 1% crit. On Oct 26 Savage was deleted. Orcs got Command back instead, 5% pet damage for Hunters and Warlocks only. Humans lost Sword Specialization too but still have 1% crit. Horde warriors and rogues feel robbed. The other camp says weapon racials were bad design and pet damage is real Orc identity. We agree weapon specs had to go. Orc melee deserved a replacement that stayed.

Name reservation opens tonight: Europe 6 PM, North America 9 PM (both CET). The real boss fight is the cap. Three characters total, across every ruleset. So your PvP main, your roleplay alt and your bank alt are already fighting for slots. We're keeping one for a name we'll regret. Which 3 are you locking in?

Xaryu reads the WoW Forever racial changes live and freezes on Tauren Plainsrunning 🐂 It now stacks up to 60% movement speed, though it no longer boosts mounted speed. Even he could only manage a confused "Huh?" 😭 Tauren chasing down every runner in world PvP sounds like a real problem 💨

DesiHeat's level 7 hardcore hunter went toe to toe with a Nightsaber Stalker in Teldrassil 😭 No pet until level 10, so she tanked the cat herself. In melee. "I swear I was just distracted with chat" Respectfully, the bow was right there 🏹 RIP Fuegox o7

Every vanilla hunter remembers this choice. Some camped for hours to tame Broken Tooth or a rare spawn and still brag about it. Others tamed the first cat they saw and never looked back. Rare pet hunt, or the first cat you see?

Charlyne takes on a level 22 spider with her level 20 Hardcore hunter, no potions in the bags, and the character is gone. Her reaction? Sliding straight off her chair 😂 Nine days until Forever, so maybe this is just an early fresh start.

Dungeon XP was nerfed to stop boosting. Five-player AoE groups in caves are reportedly hitting level 30 in 10-12 hours anyway. That is the complaint behind a WoW Forever forum thread that keeps growing. The OP says teams have already mapped spots to grind all the way to 60, and asks if Blizzard plans to do anything. The most liked replies push back. "It's not a violation or an exploit," reads one. The top reply of all calls it strange to "try and police others." The other camp wants consistency. "If five players grinding mobs together is a legitimate way to level, why wasn't five players running dungeons treated the same way?" Some fear the economy side: "It encourages mage boosting which leads to gold buying which leads to bots." We think grouping up and pulling big is clever play, not a crime. The real problem is the gold-for-boost market, and that is where Blizzard should aim. Nerfing friends in a cave won't fix it. The thread sits at 464 posts and 584 likes, with no blue reply yet. Should Blizzard nerf AoE grind groups before launch?

Hot take after the beta: Olympus will be the biggest story of Forever's first month, bigger than any race to 60. Blizzard banned a whole wave of their characters mid-beta and they still came back louder, flooding Tanaris and Stormwind with Asmongold's army. Nothing else on the beta servers came close.

Beta Flashback #8: Ziqo vs a warrior stacked in Frost Resist gear. Sheep resists, every Frostbite is a coin flip, he goes oom with no cooldowns and the only plan left is running. Then the sheep misses and it's over. "That looks very playable." Frost mages heading into launch might want a second spec ready 🧊

Day one profession pick. Herbalism and Mining pay for your mount while everyone else is broke. Crafters spend every copper on mats and swear it all pays off at 60. Gathering for gold, or crafting your own gear?

Launch night is coming. Some of you will skip every quest text and hit 60 before the rest of us even find Hogger. Others will stop to fish in every lake and still be level 22 in December. Racing to 60, or taking it slow?

Blizzard's new weapon against gold buying will hit some innocent players, and Blizzard said so first. It is called a Temporary Economy Hold. If your account is suspected of buying or selling gold, you lose trade, mail, guild banks and the Auction House while it gets investigated. Kaivax put it plainly: "There may be false positives while things are fine tuned." One camp loves it. Remove the demand and the supply dries up, so going after the buyers is the right target. The other camp asks how a normal player is supposed to know where the gold in a trade window came from. We get both sides, and the timing worries us. Launch week is when everyone trades with strangers, and that is when a brand new system is at its least tuned. Blizzard also says it will roll this out to every version of WoW if it works. The thread is past 360 replies and 1,000 likes. The only blue posts in it are the announcement itself. Would you accept a frozen Auction House on launch week if it means fewer gold buyers in your raid?
