Very sad to hear of the death of Don Butler. As a founder member of the York C.C. & RUFC coalition when we first arrived at Clifton Park, he supported the Cricket throughout the 1970's and onwards as a member of the very vociferous 5 O'Clock Club. Will be sadly by missed by all.

Very sad to hear of the death of our dear friend and Life Member Joe Hardgrave. Joe, a former Chairman, and generous donor to the Club, had been a member for over 50 years and until recently was always in attendance at home games. A great loss to YCC. Our thoughts are with Doreen

Heather has lost a devoted and loving husband, Malcolm and Louise a much loved son. The teaching profession have lost an excellent schoolmaster and the family of York Cricket Club have lost an outstanding leader, a fine cricketer and a true gentleman.
