It’s the eve of a new government in Ireland - the 34th Dail. Here are my thoughts on the new formation and its commitments. pippahackett.ie/post/a-great…

As a fellow woman in Politics, it is humbling to have the support of @paulinegalway. Pauline works tirelessly for the Green Party, as a Senator, as our Party Chair, as a recent Candidate in the European Elections and as Spokesperson for Education and Higher Education.

I have worked closely with @stevensgreen1 on core Green issues. From planning to protecting our natural environment and climate action to low carbon technology in construction, his experience and knowledge is vast and I look forward to more work together.

I've known Councillor @DollardMaria to be a tireless advocate and equality campaigner. She is also deeply involved in community participation and local action for nature in Kilkenny. Thank you Maria for your support.

Go raibh maith agat as do chuid tacaíochta @pearseanseo Thank you for your continued support, Pearse and for your endorsement of my contention that our Party must be “unapologetically Green”.

You could not meet a more committed community man than Liam Walsh. Liam works in securing employment for people with disabilities and is a fantastic advocate for his community. He recently ran in the Local Elections for the Tullamore area. I’m Delighted to have his support.

Humbled to receive this endorsement from @iva_pocock who is an incredibly experienced member, with a proven track record in environmental campaigning. Iva lives in Cloughjordan Ecovillage, of which she is a founder, and recently ran as a candidate in the Local Election.

Dr Lorraine Benson is widely known and respected as an ecologist in County Kildare with a PhD in Regional Policy: Thank you @lbcilldara for your endorsement of my candidacy. Delighted to have your support.

I'm running out of adjectives to describe the incredible work of friends & colleagues who have offered their support. @annwalshgreen is one such friend whose research and grassroots work is core to individual and community well being in face of biodiversity loss. Thank you, Ann.

Over the last 5 years as a Councillor in Mullingar, Hazel introduced Green and practical measures and was always a voice for nature. I'm running for leader because @HazelSmyth2019, and the many candidates of her caliber should not have lost their seat. #VotePippa

It is always a privilege to be in the positive, energetic presence of @CatherineEmh Both Catherine and I share the desire to part of creating positive change, protecting the environment, and improving the lives of the community and I feel honoured to have her support.

Heartwarming to visit the ‘Céilí in the Carpark’ at the @NCH_Music in support of Mukuru Philharmonic Orchestra for young street boys in Nairobi, Kenya. If you want to read more and support see here: gofundme.com/f/Mukuruphil #Kenya

Brendan Cahill-Flynn, local election candidate in Enniscorthy, reached out to offer support very early on in my campaign. We share a determination to change the public perception of our Party in rural Ireland and excellent ideas to help us begin. Thank you Brendan, Beir Bua.

It is brilliant, also, to have the support of the future focused Young Greens in our party. @RuadhainB is energetic with an environmentally conscious voice. He ran a fantastic campaign in the Local Elections prioritising Housing, Transport, and protection of the environment.

How lovely to receive an endorsement like this from @Rospunzal who has worked as a member of my small, but mighty, team for over 3 years. Rosie recently ran in the Local Elections for the Portlaoise area and has been a great support to me. Here’s to the next 3 years, Rosie! 💚

My thanks to the incredible woman that is @the_islammiyahSHE for seeing me as the future leader of the Green Party. Knowing what vision she has, and her drive to see it through, makes this all the more humbling. Let's do this! #VotePippa

Hustings work both ways: You can read my opener to the Young Greens hustings below (thanks for organising @younggreens!). More importantly though, I've listened to & taken on board what members see as most important - that way we grow together. #VotePippa pippahackett.ie/post/young-g…

The Green Party is unique. To continue protecting the environment and making this island a better place to live, we have to stay unique. #VotePippa #VoteGreen
