Let's talk about rarity! While we actually think it's super interesting to ignore rarity and let the people decide what they believe to be rare, there still was an intended system for how the rarity works in Club Bizarre. The Club Bizarre ranking system functions very similarly to any classic cult - you spend enough time, perform your tasks with precision and prove your worth, you will be rewarded. There are 4 main rarities that can be differentiated by their mask designs: Underling, Underling with pattern, Initiate and Inquisitor. Underlings are newer members who have just joined the club and are looking to prove their worth. They are given smooth masks until they've either spent enough time in the club, or proven to be excellent fighters in the ring. Underlings with patterns are the underlings who have managed to rank up. They are given small tools and accessories to decorate their smooth mask with. Some members have decided to scratch lines into their masks. Some members have decided to attach horns and spikes. Some members have gotten theirs tattooed. Initiates are the members who've gone the extra mile to spread the word of the bizarre around the globe. They've proven their worth countless times, and were given very custom masks that were easily distinguishable to separate them from the normal member. Their masks often have crazy shapes and unique designs. Inquisitors are the absolute top dogs in the hierarchy. They've pledged their loyalty with blood, sweat and tears. They live and breathe the fundamental feelings of the bizarre. They are also the ones that create the rules. The ones that keeps everyone in check. To become an inquisitor, and initiate must challenge them to a 1v1 fight. If they win, they take the spot of the inquisitor they challenged. If they lose, they will be demoted to underling and can NEVER rank up again. There hasn't been any new inquisitors in over 10 years, and it's not for a lack of trying. It's a brutal and harsh environment, but these are the rules Steve laid out when he created the club, and no one fucks with the word of Steve. We'll attach 4 examples of each rank in the hierarchy in this post.
