“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:12-13
These are demonic forces that we are dealing with. Put on the full armor of God.

POWERFUL: Pro Bowl running back Nick Chubb talks about having multiple devastating injuries and fighting to come back 🙏
“Obviously, life has thrown two major injuries at me now.
Were there dark days? Oh yes. Listen, I’m 28 years old. What’s that in running back years these days? 57? I know the business. I saw the rumors.
“Maybe they’ll just cut Chubb.”
“Man, they should cut Chubb.”
“Matter of fact, they’d be stupid not to cut him.”
It’s a cold world! I get it!
The only thing that I could control was the work. As soon as I got out of my brace, and got back on my feet, I was back in the gym. I’m not a guy who likes fancy trainers and gyms that look like the club or whatever. I always go back to where it all started. The Cedartown High Weight Room. Membership is cheap. They got a water fountain.”
This 💯
If your youth wrestling coach is cursing at your athletes, you need to find a new room.
I just spent a few days at Oklahoma State, one of the most talented rooms in college wrestling. I didn’t hear a single curse word delivered by leadership during practice.
The best coaches in the country, coaching the best athletes in the country — with the most on the line.
Now ask yourself, if the best coaches aren’t using that type of language with 20-year-olds, does it make sense to use it when addressing your 10-year-old sons and daughters?
Negative energy is contagious, and so is the language. It’s tough to build someone up while belittling them at the same time. If you want your kids to be empowered, allow them to be led by coaches in control of their own emotions.
Treat your wrestlers with dignity, and you get the most from them.
Foul language has no place in youth sports.
